Veronica

I feel like my entire life is on fast forward. I know you might tell me that I am just overreacting and it really wasn't or I just didn't lived my teenage life to the fullest.

Well, I'm afraid to say this, but you're right.

I feel like if my whole pubescent to adolescent years were to be taped and to be shown, it would only last for 15 minutes.

I guess I was goner back then, but fortunately, I feel like I am not much of a goner now.

Let me introduce myself,

I am Veronica Ray Tanner. I am 24 years old and I have gotten, what I never knew, my life's dream profession.

You can call me Ronnie,  by the way.

I am a multi-media artist... is that what it's called?

Well, I'm going to explain it; First, I am a photographer for a somewhat average-class company that sends their recruiters' work (which is me--my work) to famous magazines, no matter what classification of the magazine is.  Basically, Jimmy--my boss-- will assign me on what is my topic for the pictures that I should get. I have a deadline given and I should be able to send my work on time. And if you're wondering if I have co-workers...

Yes, I do.

I have a few ones, and they take kick-ass pictures. You'll get to know them in time.

But for now, its just me.

For this job, I get to have a good salary and other amazing perks like being sent for a 3-day trip to different places or countries. Now, after we give our pictures to Jim, he sends it to the magazine company.

And guess what? We are anonymous.

The company doesn't give credits to our names but, we have these code names instead.

My code name is "orphic.hazard", by the way. Now, the company sends us checks for each one of us by the end of the deal and the cycle goes on and on.

Second, I am taking the Art course for my college. I am actually on my last year of my 2-year course and I am specialized on drawing and painting. As of now, I'm also on my side-course in Literary Arts. I decided that I should be improving my writing skills which I am not aware if it was paying off.

Lastly, I create movies.

Well, not like the indie films you watch that becomes a popular sensation on YouTube, but slideshows of the pictures I take whenever I go out. Sometimes, I even include my company work there but mostly, it's all independent work. I put narrations on the movies and after I edit these and they become moving pictures. I must say that I am pretty proud of them.

My life seems interesting, which it is since I got out of high school, but the most unbelievable thing about me is that I still live with my parents even though I am way past 18 years old.

Believe me, I wanted to separate on my own, but the things is, I can't.

I have come to the realization that living on my own is not so practical. Why, you ask? Because if you're not stable enough and you decide to live on your own in the big city of Chicago, you are going to end up homeless at some point. I am basically earning enough money to have myself a nice apartment and a nice life.

You might think that is dumb, but no. For me, its actually quite smart and practical.

Fortunately, my parents aren't the nosy parents you are imagining. They are actually cool. They support me and my wants in life and they are very caring in all sides of perspective. So I'm good with being here.
