My assignment is pretty easy, actually. I mean, all I have to do was take pictures of random cityscape at night and day. I have all that I need here in Chicago.

I am at home, 11:26 pm, and absolutely tired. I have been taking pictures all day and I only got 6 pictures that I think will pass Jimmy's taste in photos. I sighed in discontentment as I pulled my navy blue Chuck Taylors off. I dipped down in my bed and somehow, he never fails to fill my brain. Wow, I sound incredibly obsessed.

Which, I wasn't.

I pulled out of my laptop and started to watch Me And Earl And The Dying Girl. I was getting into my movie-mood but then my phone started to ring.

Calling: Aly

I answered the call immediately.

"You know, I was getting into my movie-mood and then all of a sudden, you decide to ruin--"

"I knew you weren't asleep yet and I need someone to vent on. Open the door for me in 5 minutes." she bossed. I hung up and rolled my eyes.

I went downstairs to unlock the door and waited for my sister to come around. My eyes were drooping when I heard a car park in front of the house. I stood up and was welcomed by my sister's stressed out face.

"All the way from Michigan?" I asked her and she started to shake terribly. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I'm just tired. I'll go back to Michigan tomorrow... it's freezing cold." she muttered, closing the door.

"Yeah, well, it's almost December." I said on a matter-of-factly tone.

"Hey, are you doing anything tomorrow?" she asked me.

"Yeah, actually. I have a new assignment." I saw her roll her eyes.

Now, I'll tell you, My sister totally hates what I do and the fact that I don't do anything stable. Whatever the heck that meant, she hates that I am just a mediocre photographer for a mediocre company and I'm only taking a minor course and not a major one.

All of the hate because she's a licensed dentist.

My sister is someone you would call as "A Person Who Is Obsessed About The Future". Why? Because back when we were still both in high school, she was always one of those students that were in the advanced class. In every academical class there is, she would surely be on the advanced one.

See the part where I put emphasis on the word "academical"? Because she's advance at everything but Arts.

Aly isn't one of those artistic people--not like me--that's why were so different from each other. Yet still the same.

We can agree at somethings and argue on some too. After all, opposites attract.

She was the quiet, timid and smart girl who always aces her tests while, I, on the other hand, likes to live a little every once in a while. I love art and she loves statistics. But I always do my best with regards to tests, I just don't get the points Aly has-- it's always a point or two or three lower.

I would go and cut classes just to go to parks and forests if I think it gets a little bit too much for a day and she would scold me and say that its bad (and the same shit would go on till it does) and until we graduate, she was convinced to study in Yale University and I on the other hand, took a year break. I didn't exactly know what I want to do... until I was introduced to the art of photography, basic art, literature and creating moving pictures.
