"Hey what's up you guys!" Connor shouted, throwing his hands up, nearly hitting the camera. Troye stifled a laugh as he watched his beautiful boyfriend record. Not exactly processing the words the boy was saying into the camera, Troye sat and admired him. The way his eyebrows seemed to dance with his changing emotions, the cute faces he'd make, and his hand gestures.
Minutes past going through songs, reading the lyrics, the normal run through of "What popular songs mean".
"Now we're on too..." Connor trailed off, scrolling on his phone, a grin began to take over his face. Soon enough, Troye was smiling too; The smiles of the boy were contagious.
"TROYE!" He sprung his arms up, once again missing the camera by just an inch.
"Ah I love this boy." He whispered, his smile ear-to-ear.
"And in case you haven't bought it yet, psh you'd have to be a fool, go and buy Blue Neighborhood. It's just too good. Hm, it was such a great accomplishment for him." He smiled and blinked for a moment, looking over to Troye who was shaking his head and giggling.
"And talking about that, we will be looking at For Him." He studied his phone for a couple of seconds.
"Okay, here we go, I literally love this song so much. I think I've listened to it at least a million times." Troye eagerly watched and listened, trying laugh silently as his boy explained the lyrics of the the song about him.
"Buying e-cigarettes at the convenience store, making new clichés on our own little tour, let's ride." Connor smiled and looked up, remembering the memory.
"That was quite fun right Troye?" He giggled out as Troye raised his eyebrows in surprise. This wasn't in the original plan of the video.
"Yeah, it was," Troye laughed nervously, not sure what Connor was doing. The boy behind the camera signaled with his hand for him to come over. He popped up and slid to sit on the bed beside Connor.
Smiling, Connor snaked an arm around Troye, pulling his waist closer.
"Why don't you just explain the next few lyrics hm?" Connor pushed his nose into Troye's cheek. His face was rosy red, and his eyes wide as he stuttered out his words.
"Okay, um," he trailed off. He looked over to see the phone sitting in Connor's lap, even though he knew what lyrics came next.
"You don't have to say I love you to say I love you, forget all the shooting stars and all the silver moons, we've been making shades of purple out of red and blue, sickeningly sweet like honey, don't need money, all I need is you, all I need is you." Troye read and Connor looked at him like an excited little kid.
"And who is this about?" Connor questioned playfully, staring into blue eyes.
"Um...." Troye was panicking, what did he want him to say?
"Me." Connor smiled and pecked Troye on the lips.
And so he went on with the video, not even regarding what he had just done. Troye sat stunned, not really saying anything.
Once the camera was off and the video was done, Troye began talking.
"I thought you didn't wanna have it out yet, why didn't you tell me what you were planning?"
"Thought I'd surprise you." Connor grinned, leaning in and locking Troye's lips in a kiss before he could say anything else.
