Underwater

I sit here and think

Unafraid to let my life sink

I'm important you say

But I'm here letting my life float away

I'm underwater

I feel my skin getting hotter

I see you standing above the surface

Unaware that I might not return

I watch my world fade to black

I feel my soul break like dropped glass

You notice me but think I'm just acting normal

I love the water

I've said it before and you heard me

You don't hear me as I lay down under the beautiful blue

I'm under the water but you don't have a clue

Brother beckons for you and you follow
