Time was ticking. He was running out of time, he needs to ask her something before the clock struck twelve. where is she?!. He couldn't find her, she somehow disappeared to the various people in the crowded party. I need to know. He desperately searched for her as he found her at the balcony, looking at the moon, making her pale skin glisten in the moonlight. She noticed his stare, her face pure with innocence as her curly black hair framed it, making her beauty excel.

"Elise, I need to ask you something." He hurried his way to her. The elegant music and the people beginning to diminish as it were only a faint background. "What is it?" He looked at the clock. 30 more seconds. He then faced to her, holding her hands close to his chest which made the young lady blushed with a tint of pink. "Oh Dominic, have you seen the moon? It looks beautiful." The petite slender girl faced the moon again, her green orbs twinkling.

"Elise, there's not much time. I―" His eyes widened as the clock struck twelve. His eyes dimmed, as he became a sudden cold. Not like earlier when that he was still warm. "I have to leave." He hurriedly went outside, leaving the poor girl clueless to the young man's words. Leave?

Her eyes saddened as she tried to follow him, he was already outside, running for what seemed like his life. One of his shoe fell off, but he didn't dare turn around to get it. No, he needed to get out of there before it was too late. The girl stopped running, he saw the man had already left and disappeared through the night. She dropped to the ground, tears twinkling on her eyes that were now sliding down her cheeks.

He was the only one whom she had liked, the only one who became close to her in her whole bloody life. Yet he left. Is this what it feels to be left?
