-It's December 12th, year 2013 (Terra's 22nd birthday)-
"I really hope you didn't get me anything," Terra had mumbled, resting her head on Brendon's bare chest, Just waking up in the morning.
"are you insane?" asked Brendon.
"I'm serious, BB. You don't ever need to spend money or effort or time or any of that shit on me. Just being with you is enough."
Brendon noticed the two pink spots on Terra's cheeks and a wave of something so strong crashes inside him, and he realized that damn, he really loves this girl...and this girl really loves him back.
"I love you," exclaimed Brendon.
"Seriously though, don't get me anything. You know I can't stand when people waste money on me, especially you."
Brendon nuzzled the spot behind Terra's ear with the tip of his nose. "Especially me, huh? I'm offended." But he was smiling and so was Terra...everything was just absolutely perfect.
Terra ignored him. "Just putting up with me is enough, BB. But none the less, you stick with me, and you love me. that's more than I could have ever wished for. That's everything I need for the rest of my life, and I can't be so selfish as to ask for more."
Brendon relized he really, really loved this gile. This foolish girl who looks at Brendon like he's the sun, moon and stars while he sees himself as just the average person. Brendon wanted to grab her by the shoulders and shake her and tell her over and over that she's wonderful, she's perfect and Brendon would never deserve her in a million years.
"I'd give you the whole world if I could," said Brendon.
"But you can't, thank god. This place would go down in flames," laughed Terra.
"We'd have to settle for something smaller. The moon or a star, maybe."
Terra snorted. "Sure, all right. Just fly up into space on a broomstick next Tuesday and catch a star for me, huh?" Her tone was dripping sarcasm but somehow it still sounded sweet.
"I will, just you wait," said Brendon, planting small kisses on Terra's forehead.
Terra's eyes softened, and her lips curved up at the sides and she looked so...beautiful. "I don't deserve you," She murmured, leaning into Brendon as the younger girl pressed fleeting kisses upon his cheak.
"shut up..." Charlie whispered, and Terra pushed herself up so that their lips could meet.
