Christmas in Fiore was pretty much the same as Christmas anywhere else.

Unless you were the Fairy Tail guild.

"Juvia will catch you Gray-Sama!" I suppose you'll want and explanation huh?

Every year on Christmas the entire guild would gather together and Master Makarov would create a game for them to play. At first it was just to prevent a younger Natsu from burning everything but the guild quickly turned it into a tradition.

It seems Makarov was feeling unusually cruel this year, since he invented the game "Mistletoe Tag." To play this game, each female mage must be given a piece of mistletoe to carry around with them. The goal of the game is to kiss as many boys as possible within thirty minutes. In order to kiss someone the mistletoe must touch the -unlucky- male.

No one knew why the girls were so excited but they were practically jumping up and down. Luckily, Makarov made a rule that only innocent kisses were allowed, that meant no lips on lips action. And so the game began.

Currently Juvia was ruthlessly pursuing Gray, Natsu was climbing up a wall, Gajeel was hiding in a closet, Laxus was glaring at everything, and most of the other men were nowhere to be found. Except Macao, Wakaba, and Makarov who were all in the open but completely ignored.

By some sort of magic Gray had not only taken Juvia's mistletoe but he also managed to avoid her completely.

"You should give her some points for being able to find you almost all day." Gray jumped out of his skin when Natsu started talking, causing the pink haired dragonslayer to laugh.

"Don't laugh! If you were Juvia I would've been dead!" Natsu wiped invisible tears away as Gray yelled at him.

"Alright fine, but you might want to keep it down or we're both screwed." Gray nodded and listened for any footsteps or squealing. The two boys stood in comfortable silence, Natsu was looking down the hallway, and Gray was staring at Natsu.

"Hey Natsu, what's in your hand?" Natsu turned towards Gray and held up both hands, each one containing mistletoe.

"I stole em from Lucy and Lisanna! They were going mad with power so I decided to take it while they weren't looking!" Natsu smiled brightly while Gray chuckled at the thought of a crazy a Lucy and Lisanna.

Before Gray could respond they heard it.

The sound of rapid footsteps coming in their direction.

"We're dead!" Natsu got on his knees and prayed for an early death, but that clearly wasn't going to happen. Before Natsu could run into the supply closet Gray grabbed his arm and pushed him against a wall.

"If I'm going down you're going down with m-. Natsu, do you trust me?" Natsu stared at Gray with bewildered eyes. Was now really the best time to talk about friendship?

"Well yeah, but that isn't really gonna save us right now!" Gray sent Natsu a 'I know what I'm doing shut up' look and Natsu just rolled his eyes in response.

"I finally found you Gray-Sama!" Both boys visibly shuddered at Juvia's voice. It wasn't long before the rest of the girls gathered behind Juvia.

Little did they know, that made Gray's plan one thousand times easier.

"It doesn't matter, you don't have mistletoe anymore Juvia." Gray showed Juvia the mistletoe in his hand in an attempt to jog her memory. After a few seconds of awkward silence Juvia lunged for the mistletoe, but missed because Gray moved the mistletoe and touched Natsu's hand.

Most of the girls were freaking out, and one that shall go unnamed -Erza- screamed 'Yaoi!' Juvia started mumbling incoherent sentences, Natsu was to stunned to speak, and Gray just smirked.

"Tag." Gray said and slammed his lips on Natsu's. Most girls were stunned, some walked away, and others -Erza and Cana- started chanting 'Yaoi!'

"This was not how we were supposed to come out to the guild Gray!" Natsu started slapping Gray arm while his face turned a million shades of crimson. Gray just chuckled at Natsu's embarrassment.

All in all a pretty great Christmas.
