Jack, an average 17- year-old  teen had just finished his last exam as a high schooler and was excited to go home and rest. Immediately he got home, he dashed up the stairs and into his room to take a quick nap, but he's sister Lia came running up the stairs to call him for lunch.

"Jack!" she yelled,  "mum is calling you for lunch."

Grudgingly, he rolled out of bed, and went down to the kitchen to meet a delicious plate of potatoes, veggies and pork chops. While he was enjoying his meal, he got a phone call from Logan, his best-friend.

"Hello" Logan said. " Coach said we're gonna have a match tomorrow so get ready."

"Damn I was planning to have a break. I really hate this, well I guess I'll see you tomorrow. Bye!" Jack replied.

Although Jack was planning to nap right after eating, he had no choice but to go practice for the game.

"Mum, I need to go prepare for the match" Jack said as he grabbed his football from his room.

"Kk" his mum, Marin said as she was scrolling frantically through TV channels, looking for something to watch.

The weather was nice outside for a quick practice. He went to the park to practice. At that time, the park was quite empty with only a couple parents and their children running around. As he kept practicing new moves, he had no idea how much time he had spend at the park as it was getting dark. His mum was beginning to get worried, so she called his phone. Unfortunately, he left his phone on silence on the park bench, so he had no idea that he's mum had left him 5 missed calls and a voicemail till he looked through the phone while walking home.

When he got home, he apologized to he's mom, took a shower, and came down for dinner. He talked briefly with his mum about how nervous he was for the game, but after the talk, he went to bed feeling he could conquer anything.

"Don't think limits son. I believe in you, and I know you can do it," he's mum said.

After having a good night sleep it was actually game day.

GAMEDAY
Coach Johnson, my team's coach is ready for the match.

"Guys! Gather round, are you ready"  coach yells in the locker room.

"Yeah!" Jack and his teammates say with so much excitement, as they thump fists with each other.

Coach Johnson gives them last minute pep talk. "Squad, put all your efforts in this game. We win matches because of our determination. We can do this! Don't forget, don't think limits and be the ball."  The captain shouted, " hands in 1,2,3! be the ball!"

They began yelling with so much eagerness to start the game.

GAMETIME

Star Track(Jack's team) vs Trailers(rivals)

The game began with Trailers holding more possession of the ball.  By halftime, Trailers were winning 1-0. Second half started and Logan scored a goal. As it was getting down to the last few minutes, he scored the equalizing goal in the 88th minute. This send the crowd in jubilation chants. Jack dribbled, then passed the ball to Logan. Logan gave a through ball/long pass to Jack, and he scored the last goal in the match. Everyone was so happy, but coach Johnson was the happiest of all. The game was done, but  the foot scene was not yet over. Coach Johnson made Jack and Logan his ideal players for a captain.

After celebrating with the team at a restaurant, Jack's mum reminded him about his graduation which was coming up in a week, while they were enjoying the company of his teammates in the restaurant.

"I hope you remember to pick up your graduation gown and cap tomorrow," she said.

"Yeah mum, I'll be going with Joshua, and then we'll go over to his house," he replied.

By the time he got home from the game, he was exhausted so he quickly had dinner and went to bed.

The next day, Joshua came over to his house, and they both went to school to pick up their graduation gowns. Afterwards they went to Joshua's house, where they played games all day.

The days kept going by and anticipation towards graduation was rising. Finally, the big day arrived. His close friends and relatives were there as he finished a chapter in his life. It was a remarkable day for him but the best moment of it all was being announced the best graduating student, with the highest GPA. After the graduation, a huge party was thrown in his house where every graduating student was in attendance. The party lasted until the early hours of the next day. As my friends were leaving, we said our goodbyes and exchanged our phone numbers. I went to bed, feeling excited that summer was finally here.
