Chapter 25

*jamies pov*

"J-Jamie?" I heard, i opened my eyes to see Glenn

"You can't be here, your going to get sick" Glenn says with a raspy voice

"I-I have it" I say to him, I wipe the sweat off my head

"You look bad" I say to him jokingly

"Not to nice your self" he says back, we both laugh but then it turns to coughing, I groan

"I heard what happened with tyreese" he says

"Yeah" I say while holding up my knuckles

"Glenn, I'm scared of myself, of what I've become" I say to him "I'm a monster, I'm not any different from the walkers"

"Hey,hey, your not a monster, everyone and everything has changed, and sometimes it's for the worst or sometimes for the best" he says to me and I nod

"I didn't mean to beat him up, I was just so angry not at him, but at everything and I took my anger out on him, I know what it feels like to loose a loved one, especially if the loved one died in front of you, I acted like him, I blamed myself" I say

"Don't blame yourself, it wasn't your fault" he says then Hershel walks in with cups

" here drink this" he says while handing us cups, I took a drink and coughed after, so did Glenn

"I'm fine,I'm fine, we're gonna be fine" I hear Glenn say while attempting to get up but fails, he gave us both cloths to put on our heads

"Keep these on you heads" he says to us,

"It sucks, after everything that has happened, we're gonna be taken out by a glorified cold" Glenn says and I nod my head agreeing

"Don't say things like that, don't think things like that" Hershel says

"How can we not" i say

"We've got this far somehow, we can get through this" Hershel says, put the cloth back on my head and sigh and walk back to my cell stumbling on the way, I get into my bed and close my eyes.

"Calm down!!, I need you to calm down we are trying to help!!" Hershel says as he puts the tube down a mans throat, me Glenn and Sasha were holding him down, we were all weak, and it was hard to hold him down, Hershel finally got the tube in and the man passed out,

"Some council meeting huh" Hershel said

"We're two members short" Sasha said groggily

"I think we should make some rules, I here by declare that we have spaghetti Tuesday on Wednesday" Hershel said, we all tried to laugh but couldn't

"Are you ok to take over?" Hershel said to Sasha and she nodded

"Do you wanna go on my round check with me" Hershel asked me and Glenn

"Yeah" I Managed to say, I was shaking and sweating, my eyes were red and puffy, me and Glenn try to get up weakly, we make our way down the stairs looking in each of the cells, we stop at one man, who had blood coming out of his eyes,nose,mouth, I walk towards him and take out my knife

"No not here" Hershel says while grabbing my arm, I put my knife back and he brings a rolling gurney, we put him on it and roll him someplace different, I then take out my knife

"You haven't had to do this yet?" I ask Hershel

"No" he says, then I step near him and he starts to moan, he turned, I held him down and stabbed him in the head.

Me and Glenn were pumping the guys tube, so he can breath when I look over and there stands Hershel

"Thank you" he said to us, I smile and nod

"No problem" Glenn says

Me and Glenn have been trading shifts to pump the guys tube, it was my turn, I stopped pumping and checked his pulse, I got nothing, so I started doing CPR on him then pumped, I checked his pulse again and there was no pulse, so he was dead

"Her-hersh-" I tried to say but I started coughing and fell to the floor and started coughing blood

I heard footsteps and heard someone call Hershel I was choking and trying to breathe

"Hold on Jai" I heard Hershel say and leave

I could feel myself starting to get very weak, I was shaking and choking on my blood, all I could think of was Daryl, how I'm not gonna be able to say bye to him,

"We have something, I know we have something!!" I hear Hershel say, i felt someone grab my hand I looked over and saw Glenn, he was holding my hand

"Your going to be ok" I heard Glenn say weakly I then hear Maggie

"She's turning blue!!"

Hershel comes with the tube and is trying to clean it from the walker he took it from

"On her back" Hershel says "hold her arms down" he says and I feel Maggie and Glenn hold me down

"You know how this works, stay with us!" He says and puts the tube in my throat and I see my vision getting dark, and I passed out.
