Say What Now?

It has been a couple days since I've talked to Logan. He has repeatedly texted me but his messages have been ignored. Plus things with Corbin have gotten a little weird. In my opinion, since I'm not very good at guesses, I believe he has been flirting with me a lot. My mom even said something but I shrug it off. We are too good of friends to be anything more. I wouldn't want to take the risk.
   I walk into Pizza Hut to meet Corbin and Kasie for lunch. Kasie is Corbin's cousin who is visiting for the weekend while her parents are in California. I've grown to like her over the past few years. She has short, brown hair with a red tint to it, green eyes. She even has a nose piercing but she can pull it off unlike most girls who try.
  I sit on the opposite side of them in the booth.
  "What kind of pizza are we getting?" Corbin asks eyeing the menu. I'm pretty sure he might start drooling.
"I don't mind. Whatever you guys want, as long as we don't get the supreme." Kasie suggests. Corbin gives her a hurt look and covers his heart.
"I take offense to that woman" I laugh at the two of them.
"Does Sausage with stuffed crust sound ok?" I ask. They both nod in agreement. I check my phone to make sure my mom hasn't contacted me and I notice yet again another text from Logan. "This guy I swear is relentless." I mumble under my breath as I unlock my phone.

Logan: Why won't you talk to me? I've apologized I don't know how many times for Natalie. I promise we had broken up for good. She won't leave me alone. Please.

I lock my phone and look up seeing a confused look on Corbin and Kasies face. I show them my phone showing what Logan has said. I notice Corbin tense up.
"I wish he would take the damn hint that you're done with him." Corbin mumbles, getting up. I look at Kasie realizing  she is just as confused as I am.
  "Don't let him get to you. He has been acting strange." Kasie smiles trying to reassure me. I offer a smile back.
Our waiter arrives with our pizza and Corbin shows back up a few minutes after. Awkward silence is surrounding us as we eat. I glance up to look at Corbin. He has a straight face looking down at his plate.

We decided to go bowling but Kasie wasn't feeling well so she had us drop her off back at Corbin's house. I felt bad that she didn't feel good enough to go. The ride there was just filled with silence. I open my mouth to say something but quickly shut it realizing he doesn't want to talk. I wish I knew what his deal was.
Ask him, there's nothing wrong with caring.
We make it to the bowling ally. He puts it in park and we just sit there. I look down at my hands folded in my lap. He clears his throat and looks at me.
"Ready to get beat?" He smirks and gets out before I can give him a sarcastic comment.
What is up with you child? Are you bipolar?
I follow behind him trying to catch up. We get inside, noise surrounding us. I notice a couple of people from school here. We get our shoes and go to our lane. I'm up first and right off the bat, I get a strike. I turn around and give a smirk.
  "Beat that."
He raises an eyebrow, "Sure thing, but it won't be that hard." He ends up landing it in the gutter both times. I cover my mouth trying to suppress my laugh but I can't hold it in. He sends me a glare which makes me laugh even more.

  We end up playing a couple of games before agreeing that we were both tired. We are heading back home, this time the car is filled with our laughing instead of silence. We get back to my house but I'm not in any rush to get out. I notice Corbin open his mouth but close it.
  "Addie, can I tell you something?" He asks nervously. I nod my head, waiting for him to go on.
  "I uhm, I've been thinking this through for a few days but not knowing how to say it." He pauses. "I've noticed that I don't just like you as a friend. It's more then that. I didn't want to say anything but seeing Logan trying to talk to you just made my jealousy sky rocket. I know this isn't fair for me to do this to you. I just needed to tell you." He says it all so fast that it takes me a minute to register everything. My heart starts racing and suddenly it's hard for me to breath. I can't even find a word to say. The only thing I can get out is,
"Say what now?"

He gives me a look, thinking he realizes he made a mistake saying that. I don't know if it is or isn't because I'm not sure how I feel. I never thought about it but apparently he has. He drops his head and slowly opens his door. He walks over to my side and opens my door. I hesitantly get out and he walks me to the front door. He kisses my cheek.
"Goodnight Addie." He then turns and walks off leaving me dumb founded. I stand there for a minute after he drives off. I open the door and rest my back up against it after I get in.
What the hell just happened?
