My One And Only

Chapter 1

My name is Lyric. I'm 22 and I work at a pet shop, working till 12:00 am until closing time since I'm like the only one that volunteered to work overtime to close up the shop...but i get paid extra so it doesn't bother me. My best friend is the one and only Andy Biersack and my boyfriend is Adam Carpenter. Adam and i have been together for 3 years. I've known Andy since I was born basically. He doesn't like Adam because he says that Adam drinks way too much and beats me so I try and keep them away from each other and try to convince Andy I fell or something crazy like that. Its actually hard to lie when one day I am perfectly fine and the next I'm all scratched and bruised. The truth is Adam does beat me, only when he's drunk which is quite frequently but I'd rather not have Andy know. He's recently on tour and its killing me not seeing him for 3 to 4 months. He's only been on tour for 2 weeks..more like 2 years to me. Well anyway I was at the shop getting ready to close up. I had already cleaned the shop but I had to go see my babies. I quickly made my way to the back where we kept the kittens. Omg they are my world...other than Andy and Adam. I kissed each of them on the head before leaving, locking the door behind me. I texted Adam a while ago. He said he would be here...that was 2 hours ago.

What the fuck is taking him so long? I thought to myself. I've been waiting 30 minutes for Adam but he still isn't here. I sighed and got up from my comfortable place on the bench assuming I would have to walk back home. Right when I took the first step I seen headlights coming right at me at a very fast speed. I flinched at the sudden action hoping for the best.
