Chapter 1
What if it was you standing there? In front of all those people with your secrets floating around and everyone laughing at you? Not knowing what to do.
Broken, lost and wanting to hide.
It all started at the start of the school year. A new girl called Emerald with long dark hair, a fair completion and deep green eyes, had just moved to a new town which meant she had to move to a new school. She was insecure and so she decided to take something that meant more to her than anything, her diary!
As she walked into school on her very first day she clutched onto her diary for dear life. She bumped into a girl, a kind looking girl.
"Hi, my name is Lily!"
Emerald stuttered and replied saying "Hhhi, my nnname is Emerald and I am new here..." Emerald bent down to pick up her diary and she stood up straight again.
"Wow, you are really pretty and your eyes match your name!"
"Thanks" Emerald said feeling happier than she was before. Emerald thought Lily looked beautiful with her short sandy hair and her deep grey eyes and her nice rosy cheeks!
"Time for class!" Exclaimed Lily, looking at the timetable on the wall. "Fantastic, your in my class!
Chapter 2
"Wow, well that was BORING." Lily whines. As Emerald and Lily walk to their lockers all Emerald could think about is her diary! She left it in her locker before class because she did not want to risk it falling out and getting lost!
As Emerald opened her locker the last thing she expected to see was no diary! Her world just shattered before her eyes.
"Emerald, what's wrong?"
"My diary, it's gone. All of my secrets and my dreams are out there just floating around."
"Ohhh Emerald, are you sure it's gone? It might just be displaced or lost in all of this paper!"
"No, it's gone."
"Don't worry we will find it!"
"Thanks for been so kind about this!"
"Ok let's start at the start who knows that you brought your diary to school today?"
"You, me and my mum."
"We'll I didn't take it, it is impossible for you to take it and your mum will never take your diary!"
As Emerald and lily are talking the mean girl of the school walks by with her posse.
"So you lost your diary? Well that's a shame, I bet your worried about all of your secrets floating all around the school!"
And with that she walks off and as she does you here a little snicker coming from the group.
"Boy they get on my nerve, I bet she took your diary, that little..."
"Lily snap out if it we can't jump to conclusions."
"Fine little miss detective!"

Hi, umm, first authors notes , what to say, what to say! Ohh, I know, I would love to know if you think Britney took her diary!
Sorry I am a short story writer so my chapters are small ,but I will improve them so they will get longer and I will update more, just life is busy at the moment!

Chapter 3
Britney is the name of the mean girl by the way, she is friends with Nicola, Layla and Charlie.
"We need help, and a lot of it!" Blurts out Lily " I know what about Luke?"
"Who's Luke?"
"He is a very good detective last year at school a girl lost her computer and he found it in a couple of days!"
" wow, I guess he might help! Just wondering where was the laptop?"
" under all the pieces of paper in her locker!"
Lily and Emerald laughed until the bell ran.
"Oh no I have maths! Don't you have drama ? " exclaims lily
"Yeah, I would like to be with you so we can talk about your diary!"
