**Jacks POV**"Jack! I can't reach!"
"That's because you're short.."
"Shut up! I'm taller than you!"
"Ya but I'm smarter."
"Whatever! Just... give me a boost!"
I sighed, " Fine, ya' big baby!" I got up from my computer and walked towards Mark, "Ya know... you're lucky I love you..."
He smiled at me gave me a small peck on the cheek, "I know!"
I smiled back, "Good. Now... spread your legs."
"Yes sir!"
Mark spread his legs apart and I bent down and put my head in between them, scooping him up on to my shoulders.
"Geez you're heavy..!"
"Yes, because that's exactly what I want to hear come out of my boyfriend's mouth." He said, sarcastically.
"Shut up, I know it's all muscle, ya goof. We've been working out every day together for months now.."
He blushes slightly, "Yeah...you look really nice without a shirt on..."
I smiled, but his weight caught up with me," Uhm, not to be rude ... But can we ... Continue with the task at hand, please?" I grunted
"Oh! Yeah.. Sorry, Uhm about two feet in front of you and slightly to the right, please..."
I stepped in the directions that he told me and accidently smacked my knee on the fireplace.
Stumbling slightly I heard Mark cry out, "Woooooah! Please don't drop me!"
"Fuck!!!!!" I yelled.
"Oh!" He clapped his hand over his mouth, "That's a dollar in the swear jar!" He said, jokingly.
"Seriously? If we had a swear jar, we'd be fuckin billionaires!"
He gave a slight laugh, "True." He shifted on my shoulders and continued with his directions.
"Almost there..." He reached up as high as he could and then, "THERE! Got it!!"
"Finally!" I slowly lowered him down to the ground and found instant relief wash over me.
Mark came up behind me and started rubbing my shoulders affectionately, "Thank you, Jack... I couldn't have done it without you.."
We stood there in awe of the newly decorated Christmas tree. It sparkled and shined, colors danced across the pine needles gracefully.
I turned and wrapped my arms around my love's waist, "It's beautiful, Mark.." I gave him a deep kiss, "Merry Christmas."
For the rest of the night we sat on the couch cuddling and playing video games by the fire.
As the iridescent lights glimmered around the room, I knew that this is what pure joy felt like, and God knows neither of us were ever going to let that go.
