Somewhere in Totsuki, A pink hair-girl was facing a blond-haired girl.

"Hmmm? Do you really want to do that?" Akira slyly said while twisting her soft, pink hair.

"Yes Akira-neesan!" Erina said pouting at her. "I want to see the difference in our skills!"

"Fine then," Akira sighed, thinking about what she should make and what theme to use. " Our theme will be something refreshing."

Meanwhile at Yukihira's, the fastfood restaurant was busy with many customers wanting to buy food. Souma was engaged in a food battle against his dad, the owner of Yukihira.

"This one!" a girl in her school uniform declared, pointing to the dish on her left. Immediately, Souma collapsed into the floor, while his father fist bumps the air.

"The old man won the cooking match today again!" the crowd around the counter cheered.

"Hm, it seems that it was my loss today," Souma spoke turning around.

"Say that when you win at least once," his father sighs, "it seems like you have to practice more. Also, aren't we close to the 500th time?"

"Huh?! Don't get so cocky.. It's only the 489th time!" Souma bickered to his dad.

"B-but! Yukihira-kun's was also really good! Of all the fried rice I've ever eaten, it was the best!" the girl from earlier butted in.

"Thank you... Would you like to try the new dish I made this morning?" Souma suggested, with tears streaming down his face.

"Is it okay? I-I want to try it," the girl said timidly. Souma grabbed some chopsticks to pick up the food from a container on the counter.

"Grilled squid tentacles dressed in peanut butter," Souma said slowly pulling out a horrid tentacle. Someone around the two thought, uwooh, this time's dish looks much more amazing.

"Now it's done, it's so bad it'll make you laugh," Souma said looming over the poor quivering figure. Then quickly and swiftly he shoved the tentacle in the girl's mouth. She thought, it was so terrible, it felt as if my whole body was being groped.

~COOKING IS AN ENDLESS WILDERNESS~

At Totsuki, Erina fumed over the fact that Akira bested her.

"Mou! How come your rainbow jelly is better? Let me have a taste!" Erina whined and grabbed the colourful cup of jelly off the table. Shoving a spoonful into her mouth, it burst into many rich flavours. In Erina's mind she felt as if she was swimming with majestic rainbow jellyfish. She let out a gasp of pleasure and felt weak in the knees.

"Tsk, tsk, imouto, it seems you still have a lot to learn," Akira said nonchalantly, flipping her hair softly.

Meanwhile...

"May I come in?" a saleswoman ask in a sickly sweet tone, showing her cleavage while talking to Souma. Behind her were two men dressed in suits." I'm an urban life planner, my name's Minegasaki."

"What would you like to order? Today we recommend you the splendid Alfonsino dish and-" Souma started until he was interrupted by the lady.

"I'm sorry, today you see, I came to explain to you once again, what the plan I talked to you about the other day is about," She interrupted, holding up magazine with a building on it.

"Ah, you're one of those land sharks and you want us out of here right? I heard the other day." Souma smirked.

"We want to build an urban apartment with a garden residence as the concept." This lady just keeps yapping doesn't she?

"Go back, we don't want to sell this shop at all," Souma ordered her, but she's a stubborn one I'll tell you that.

"Hmph, I'll leave my business card here then. Contact me whenever you want," She said placing down her card.

"Hmph, go back. We don't want to shut down this at all," Souma said trying to reason with her, obviously agitated by her stubbornness.

"I've heard that there is a lot of stores that have troubles even with buy the daily stocks," Minegasaki was a clever business woman, but she can't stump Souma.

"That doesn't happen here," he retorted still keeping his composure. "In Yukihira, we take responsibility to offer what the clients want anytime."

"Oh! How splendid! You're the model of the service sector!" she exclaimed in a cheery attitude. This woman doesn't stop yappin' does she? "Then, what if? What if you couldn't give the client the dish they want? How will you take responsibility?" Minegasaki slyly said. Souma grabbed some tongs and picked up her business card.

"We'll manly close the shop and go out of business or whatever," he said nonchalantly and dropped the card onto the grill. It crackled and sizzled till it became ash.

"A man doesn't go back on his word okay?" Minegasaki said and put on her sunglasses and walked out the door along with her henchmen.

Minegasaki, along with her men still stood outside of the shop. She was thinking about something mischievous.

Author's note: I do not own Shokugeki no Souma.  It belongs to Tsukuda Yuuto.

So, I not going to write a character profile, 'cause you're all going to find it out along the way about Akira in the more future chapters.

Anyway hope you enjoyed this first chapter even though it's mostly about Souma. Don't worry, Akira will come in the later chapters.

Cya next chapter.
