Kat was put up for adoption at ten months old. She was put into foster care till age 6 and worked as a servant for a rich family afterwards till age 10. One night, Kat ran away and met a girl her age that was looking for someone. Her name was Summer and they became best friends. Summer took Kat to camp half-blood with a girl named Harlow Luna and they were all really close until one day right outside camp half-blood, Summer was taken from them and turned into dust in front of their eyes. Kat got a bag and put all the dust in it and tied it tightly. She still has the bag and got to camp half-blood safely with Harlow at her side. The two girls are a year apart but are like sisters to each other. Summer will stay in their hearts forever.
