Doctor Who : The Doctor And Felicity

CHAPTER ONE : Barry Allen

The Doctor grabbed my hand and whispered, "Run!" And we ran for what felt like hours and finally reached the TARDIS. The Argentinosaurus huinculensis tried to break it in some manner but failed in doing so. Suddenly, Abbies appeared along with the dinosaur!

You probably must be wondering what the hell's going on here. I am Felicity Luther, younger sister of Lex Luther. Adopted sister. Was adopted when I was 9. Lex found me in suicide slums all alone and decided to take me in with him. Lionel agreed to adopt me on the condition that Lex would raise me and he agreed. He was just 17 then. We have another sister too, Zoe Barnes, who is a journalist at The Herald. I'm not telling you the story of my adventures with the Doctor, but what circumstances led to me meeting the Doctor.

I entered the halls of my school. It was all so new. St. Mary's Private High School was considered the best in Smallville but something about the school made me feel unwelcomed. Though it was probably the stares and whispers I received. It was just a high school, but something made be feel that I didn't belong. There were two streams, commerce and science out of which I chose commerce, well Lionel chose it,but watever..

At least it was better than staying at the hostel. The school believed in preserving the originality of humans, which basically meant that no usage of technology in school.

I entered my classroom. It felt so new and different. No familiar face. I sat on the third bench on the middle row. A well dressed man entered the room. After him, came a young guy of my age running. He reached till the door of the class and asked. "May I come in, sir." The Professor gave him a stare and nodded. He came and sat beside me. It felt good that finally someone sat beside me. But, when I looked around, I saw that that was the only seat that was empty was the one beside me! Of course.

He started with the class. I was dying to speak and so I asked to the late-comer sitting beside me, "What's the name of this professor?"
"Severus Snape. He's our class teacher. Teaches Business Maths and Economics" replied he.
"Ohkay"
He grinned.
I politely smiled back.

Ten minutes later, he said "I don't believe we've officially met. " He paused for a second and said "Barry Allen. And you are?"

"Felicity. Luther."

"Nice to meet you Felicity." He grinned.

"You too, Barry", I softly said.

"Where ya from?"

"Metropolis."

"Ahn! A city gurl! Rarely heard of people come to this small town. Mostly people are more interested in leaving."

I just looked at him. I was planning on saying something, but no words passed my mouth. It was like my mouth wasn't functioned. So, basically, I just smiled again politely.

"You know, I don't bite." said he.

I looked at him puzzled and said softly, "Of course."

"So, what brings ya here!?"

"Dad has a factory here which he has assigned to Lex. So we're here. Plus, Lex likes the idea of living in a small town better than a metro city."

"Oh. Cool!" He grinned again and I couldn't help but grin back at him. That was the moment I fell for him. For his smile. It was so beautiful.
