[ Carlos ]I smiled gleefully the entire ride to work. I was over the moon and back and I didn't care about the speed of things. I had continuously recounted each moment I spent with Antonio right from the moment we met to the time in the park where he got me ice-cream and we shared something about our past that nobody but family knew. I still had chills everytime I thought of him, everytime I went out with the hope to run into him. It has already been a week and I haven't caught sight of him which, unexpectedly, made me sad.
I got out of the car and I made my way into the large building with the sign 'Architectural Fix', the name had been mother's idea. I smiled at my coworkers as my assistant rushed over to me.
"Sir, what are you doing here? You should be resting. "She frowned as she looked me over. I chuckled.
"Becky, I'm fine. The doctor cleared me through already, no worries." I flicked my hand up, waving the matter away. "So, anything I should know about?" I asked as we entered the elevator.
"Well, Mr. Callum has been asking about you, he doesn't want any other architect working on his building. Rory, down by landscape needs your take on a project he got before he takes it over." I nod along to her words while thinking of Antonio. I haven't seemed to be able to get him out of my mind, it was thrilling really.
"Alright, thanks, Becky." I said as we got to my office, she gave a nod and a smile, turning around to head for her desk. I spent the day contacting Mr. Callum and setting up a meeting with himself and I, then I went through the plan Rory made, made a few adjustments before sending it on his way and then getting to work on a project I had been busy with before the whole car accident. I stood and looked at the large sheet of paper. It took me three hours before I was done and lunch time rolled in.
"I'll be heading for lunch now, Carlos. "Becky said with a smile, I gave her a nod before taking my cell phone and wallet as well as my car keys and heading for lunch myself.

I was outside of Zoe's Delights when he caught my eye. I couldn't help think how lucky I had been. I smiled widely on his direction and he smiled right back. I waited him to reach me and leaned in to give him a greeting hug.
"Fancy seeing you here." I said and Antonio smiled wider.
"Same goes to you." He said. "Having lunch?" I nod and he does the same. "Well, I'd hate to keep you." He smiled, "It was good seeing you, Carlos, I was beginning to think you ran from me." A dark look came over his face in a flash but I ignored it.
"You could never get rid of me so fast. Would you like to join me? "I asked, hoping he'd say yes. A sick look came over his face and he swallowed.
"I would love to, but, I'm not very hungry." He said honestly, his eyes apologetic.
"Well, could you atleast keep me company then? "I asked sweetly, batting my eyelashes and he chuckled.
"I don't think..." I put on my puppy dog face and touched his strong bicep.
"Pwease?" I asked in a baby voice, his resolve had been weakened as he sighed and held his arm out for me, I cheered loudly ans he laughed.
We sat across from each other in a booth and I didn't like it. I wanted to be closer to him, at a touching distance. I held myself back as the waiter took my order and attempted to flirt with my man. My eyes widened, I am officially hopeless. I thought with a chuckle. Antonio looked at me unblinking.
"What?" I asked him and he shrugged.
"Just you." He replied.
"What about me?" He looked thoughtful, as though he were thinking his options over, choosing his words carefully.
