The Cup.
It was pouring with rain as the boys sat down in their cozy loungeroom, Liam and Niall curled up together and Zayn under the heater texting Perrie. Louis and Harry opposite sides of the couch watching a classic movie on the TV.
"Anyone want a hot drink?" Harry broke the scilence
looking around to the other boys they all nodded and zayn mumbled a small 'yeah'.
"m'kay, hot chocolate?" more nods
"Tea please. Yorkshire." Louis requested not breaking his gaze from the movie.
Harry nods his head trying not to show his growing smile. That was the first time Louis had talked to him today.
In the kitchen Harry was grabbing cups down from an overhead cupboard. Choosing the cup his Dad gave him for his third birthday to give to Louis, and plain blue for all the others. pouring the tea for Louis and hot chocoateforthe others and himself he placed them on a tray and walking back into the lounge.
"Drinks are ready" Harry said as he walked over to Liam and Niall bending slightly to hand them their drinks. Walking to Zayn and handing him his before approaching Louis to give him his tea
Slipping the tray on the coffee table Harry handed Louis his tea, sipping on his own waiting for Louis reaction.
Noticing Harry's gaze Louis spoke up "anything wrong Harry?"
Harry just shrugged turning back to the movie
Capturing the the sudden noise and seeing the cup Louis was holding Niall asks "Harry why is Louis using Your cup?" making the 'Your' extra loud.
Louis captures Harry's gaze gives him a questining look "i-uh-um" Harry mumbles trying to string together a proper sentence.
"I just thought maybe Louis would like to use a nice cup?" Harry states, the sentence coming out like more of a question.
"But isn't that the cup your Dad gave you for your 4th birthday?, you never let anyone use it. Ever." Liam accused
"3rd birthday actually and yes it is" Harry spoke with more confidence
"Thanks Harry" Louis spoke
Harry smiled and turned back to the movie ending the conversation.
