A light breeze rustles the dry, dead leaves on the ground and I pull the sleeves of my cream colored sweater over my hands. Hunching my shoulders, I look up at the inky black sky, scattered with so many radiant stars. How can they be so confidant? Shining for all the world to see. I sigh and trudge on. Thank God today had been the last day of Senior year. Who would have thought our future politicians and teachers could be so immature right up to the end. Hopefully college will be more mature, more studious. I cannot wait. Even the harder work would be worth it if I didn't have to be around imbeciles all day long. I can nearly feel the wind whispering in my ear. I frown and attempt to swat it away, but it doesn't go away. Frustrated I spin around quickly to yell at whatever idiots are up to this. Whoa. Definitely not a fly... Or a person. I stare as a soft glow appears in front of me, feather light. More of these figures appear, surrounding me. I cannot make out their faces, though the voices grow stronger, clearer. They are not pleas for help, sad and lonely, but answers of forgiveness and explanation, warm and soft. Love, light and laughter. A feeling of a summers day, hot and giddy. I know that I must share their light, their forgiveness. They are ghosts... but not as you know them. They are not on this Earth because they are lost. But because they have been found.
