I see the pain in her eyes
But I watch it disappear as she laughs
That is her moment to escape
Escape the ever shrinking box that is depression
Her smile suggests that she is not willing
To reach out for help
But she needs to
She lives in that painfully small box
Waiting, wishing for someone to save her
But how can I save her if I don't know
What makes her happy
This knowledge is not mine
But I want it to be
Because I want to be there for her
I want to make her smile
And have that smile reach her eyes
I want to make her laugh
And have her moment of escape be everlasting
I want her to be happy
With me
