Chapter 24

~Chapter 24~

--Niall's POV--

I hugged Gem. I could feel the love that she set on me. I love Gem, dearly. Just what she said...I'm not very sure about. I want her to be happy. And when she's happy, so am I. She wants me to raise a child. I said yes to make her happy. I don't know if I can raise a child. I'm a teenager. I don't think I'm quite ready, but I'll do it. For Gem.

Gem released from our hug.

"Hey, how 'bout we get out of bed and eat some breakfast. Harry's made muffins and pancakes", Gem said.

"Alright", I said. We got out of bed and walked toward the kitchen together. I heard Anna and Harry finishing up a conversation that they apparently didn't want us to hear.

"Good Morning", Anna said.

"Morning", I said.

"Hungry?", Harry asked.

"Yea", I said.

"Good", Harry said. Harry was finishing up breakfast. I sat down at the table. Gem sat down next to me. Followed by Anna who sat down next to her. Finally Harry took his seat.

"Where's your mum?", I asked Harry.

"Oh, she sleeps in...late", Harry said.

"Alright. Sorry, I was a bit concerned", I said. Harry stood silent. Finally Gem broke the silence.

" Harry are you alright?", Gem asked.

"Um...yea", Harry said.

"Is there something you're not telling us?", Anna asked.

"Oh my goodness people! Stop interrogating me! I literally felt like I was in jail being questioned by police officers!", Harry said.

" I'm sorry, it's just that you looked sick a minute ago.", Gem said.

" MY MUM IS SEEING A MAN!", Harry yelled.

" Why were you keeping that a secret?", Anna asked.

" I don't know.", Harry said.

Then we finished eating. We got dressed and drove to Kate's and Louis' house. When we got there we introduced Gem to Kate and Louis.

"So, Gem how far along are you?", Kate asked.

"I'm about 5 months pregnant which means I'll give birth a month after Anna.", Gem said.

"So... is Niall the...dad?", Kate asked.

"No, my ex-boyfriend was", Gem said.

"Oh, why did you guys break-up?", Kate asked.

"He died", Gem said starting to cry.

"Oh I'm so sorry", Kate said.

I took Gem in his arms and hugged her, till she stopped crying.

"I-It's alright.", Gem said.

"Oh thank god, I would never see Niall doing that", Louis said with a small laugh.

"Hey! I'm as good as the next guy.", I said while punching Louis' arm lightly.

"Yeah, like you've ever had sex before, Niall.", Louis said

"How do you know I've never done it before? I could've done it in some random parking lot two doors down from my place.", I said.

"Who would you have had sex with?", Kate asked

"Um...", I said.

" Exactly" Louis said.

" You've never had sex before? Every teenager does it.", Anna said.

"No, I haven't.", I said.

" Stop picking on little Niall.", Gem said.

" Okay. Harry, why have you been so quite?", Kate asked.

"Oh nothing. I just haven't been able to say anything", Harry said.

" We're sorry, we've just been non-stop talking and picking on Niall. Do you have anything you would like to say?", Anna asked.

"Kate, Louis, Gem, Niall do you mind if Anna and I go on a walk?", Harry asked.

"No", they all said in unison.

"Thank you", Harry said shaking and taking Anna's hand.

When they left we talk about our relationships. Anna and Harry were gone for a long time I was wondering what they were up to.

Harry and Anna walked back to the house.

When they walked in Louis asked "What took so long?"

I said " We went for ice cream and..." Anna held out her hand to show us the ring.

Kate gasped and said "Congratulations you two!"

Way to go Mate!", Louis said to Harry.

Everyone sat down to talk. Anna talked to Kate about the wedding, Louis and I were laughing at our jokes, and Gem and Harry were having a nice conversation. While listening to Louis jokes I overheard Gem and Harry.

Gem said, " I see you couldn't wait till dinner. Why?"

Harry said, "Um... If I waited any longer I would've been sick."

"So I see Anna said yes. Are you going to mess things up?", Gem asked.

"I hope not. I'm not 100% sure yet, but I'm thinking about not drinking cause if I drink to much I will do things I would never think to do.", Harry said.

"What do you mean?", Gem asked.

Harry said, " Like, I don't want to hurt Anna. She told me her father was killed in a car crash by a drunk driver. Many people loved him and he was taken from them. Anna doesn't drink much cause she doesn't want to take people from their families like, how her father was taken from her."

" Oh.", Gem said.

" And I don't want to hurt families and kill people.", Harry said. I felt nosey, but I was curious.

We ordered pizza for dinner and ate in the living room at Kate and Louis' place.

I said " Harry, Louis would you guys like to have a guys night out before the babies are born and Harry is married? We can do it tomorrow."

Harry said " Sure sounds great, Lou?"

"I'm sorry I can't Kate and I have a date tomorrow.", Louis said.

"Yeah a "date" Lou. Anyways it just looks like it's me and you Niall.", Harry said.

" Okay.", I said.

Anna said, "Harry promise me you won't drink to much. I don't want anybody hurt."

Gem said "Yeah, Harry please don't go around kissing random girls and messing things up with Anna".

I said " Harry you do get wasted often."

Harry said, " I promise I won't drink to much".

When we got home Gem stripped to a tank top and her underwear and I stripped down to my boxer. We slipped in bed.

"I love you", I told Gem.

"Love you too", Gem said. I kissed her on the lips, then we went to sleep.

--NEXT DAY--

Before Harry and I left, I said goodbye to Gem and that I love her. I hope Harry said something promising to Anna also.
