27 || I'll Explain Later

Brad's POV

I walked into English and looked at my seat to see someone else sitting there. I looked around the whole class weren't in their normal seats. I looked at the board and saw a new setting plan. I walked over to my seat and looked on the board on who was on my table; Me, some girl called Jessica, Maddie (yay), Lola, some boy called Kyle and of course to ruin everything Jason Wells the guy Maddie is going on a date with. And with that queue in walks Maddie and Lola laughing as they see the board change get excited because they are on the same table and go over to their seats.

"Hey Brad" Maddie smiled

"Hey" I said bluntly back

She frowned and then opened her mouth to speak and then Lola interrupted like normal

"Maddie Jason is coming over"

Maddie's eyes opened wide

"Do I look okay?" She said pushing her hair back off her shoulders

"Of course you do" Jason said as he sat next to Lola in his seat which was opposite Maddie

"Thank you" she said blushing

"You still up for tonight?" Jason asked

"Of course I am" she smiled

"Can't wait" he winked at her

Oh my god he is the biggest fuck boy I have ever seen

"So Lola you and Tom are coming too right?" He asked

"Of course I am" she smiled

"Oh Brad I'm not walking after school I'm going to Lola's to get ready" Maddie said turning to me

"Oh right okay. Have fun" I smiled softly

"Thanks" she smiled back

It killed me to see her smile because I know she isn't smiling because of me. She's smiling because she is going on a date with Tom and I'm going to find out all about it tomorrow when she walks and I don't know if I can do that. I pushed it to the back of my mind and ignored their conversation and did my work for the rest of the lesson but once my teacher dismissed us I was out of the door so quick

"Brad!" I heard someone shout

I stopped and turned around to see Maddie calling my name. She came running up to me as I waited for her

"Yeah?" I asked as she came running through the busy crowds

"Are you okay?" She asked "like you've been acting weird"

"Yeah I've just got a lot on my mind"

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"No it's fine it's just family stuff"

"Brad you can talk to m-"

"Brad there you are mate" I heard someone shout and me and Maddie both turned to find out who it was

James. Nice timing

"Hey James" I said

"Hey Brad" he paused and looked at Maddie "oh sorry I didn't realise you guys were talking"

"It's fine I was just about to go anyway" Maddie said as she walked off

"what was all of that about?" James asked

"I'll explain later"
