You're Not Alone...

It was a dark & rainy night. Victoria was at the Lifestyles Pavillion (a local concert venue) watching BVB play. When the concert ended, she left the venue & went out near the gate that shuts off the driveway.

The 16 year-old girl waited to be picked up by her mom when a man came up to her & asked for a smoke. She said she didn't have any, as she didn't smoke, & the guy hit her hard. Victoria quickly became terrified & started crying as he forced her to do all sorts of things.

Victoria was crying hysterically & screaming as he raped her while holding a knife to her throat. There were massive bruises, scrapes, & cuts all over her body, & she was in tons of pain.

Too much time had passed when the guy finally stood up & fixed his pants. Victoria was still crying hard. Then someone suddenly landed on the ground beside her. She could only guess that the new male figure climbed over the gate and jumped down.

This new figure was a bit taller than the rapist, & immediately started beating the shit out of him. Victoria fixed herself up a bit as to not appear indecent and vulnerable, & she hugged her knees, sobbing.

Once the rapist was beaten to a bloody pulp, the new figure knelt down in front of Victoria, looking into her eyes. When she saw his brown eyes, she started crying harder because Ashley Purdy had seen her be a completely vulnerable, beaten girl.

He held his hand out to her, & she sat there. So he picked her up gently, carrying her to the tourbus.

When Ash could finally get a good look at Victoria in the light, he noticed all the cuts & bruises & looked really sad. She started crying again, shivering. The broken girl was freezing & soaked.

Ash called for Jinxx to grab a blanket & when Jinxx came back, he said, "What's up with the gir- oh no..." Apparently he noticed how beaten Victoria looked too. Ashley nodded, angry and hurt, & took the blanket. He wrapped the blanket around the young girl, & carried her to the couch, sitting her on his lap. She was a bit nervous, seeing as how she didn't really KNOW him, & also what she just went through.

Ashley seemed to be able to tell & he simply whispered, "It's ok. You're safe right here. No one will ever touch you like that again. I promise. You're safe with me. You'll never be alone again. Just try to sleep..." Victoria started crying again & snuggled into his chest. As much as she tried, she couldn't sleep. So Ash said, "Okay, um... How about a lullaby?" And he started singing "Carolyn". It didn't take long for her to fall asleep.

Victoria felt safe in her idol's arms, knowing that as long as he was around, no one could touch her...
