It's my fault. All of this is my fault. Why couldn't it have been me instead.
It was all because of some stupid, stupid girl. A stupid one night stand that caused me all this pain. It was only supposed to be one night...START:
It's Saturday morning when Colton, my best friend, comes over. "Get your ass out of bed and get ready!" Today's the beach party, the best party of the year, at Santa Monica. I'm ready for the booze, girls and partying. As I pull the covers back over my head just to piss him off and think about who I wanna hook up with. Water, freezing cold water. "WTF asshole?! That's cold," I say. Finally I get up, throw on some board shorts, grab my board and get into the car. Today's the day. I get the one girl who's impossible to get.
//As we arrive at the beach, I see her. My newest conquest. "Hey, Lea. What's up?" She blushes, "nothing." I tickle her to get her to tell me what's really up. "Stop. Stop. I'll tell you!" I stop tickling her and she spills it. "We are planning a surprise party for you," she's says in lighting speed. "Well I promise not to tell anyone. Wanna go hang? I could teach you to surf." "OMG REALLY?!" she squeals. I laugh, "yes really silly" as I poke her nose. I grab Colton's board for her. "Let's go babe," I wink.
She's a natural. She's also super hot out in the water, sun behind her. As Lea got tired I said," let's go lay out for a while."
"So, ever think about dating or hooking up?" She tucks her head down shyly, "I've thought about it and it scares me. I don't want to be hurt." "Wanna try a hook up? No one gets hurt. All pleasure, no hurt."
I grab her hand and guide her to the beach house. I finally conquered the mission. The mission all the guys said I couldn't do.
//As I walk into Ceramics, yes you heard me right. To graduate, I had to but it may have just became my favorite. I see Lea sitting, quietly reading a stupid Shakespeare book. "Hey Lea." At first I don't think she notices me until she looks up and says "hi." I don't know why but when she looks at me with her soft, blue eyes I get a funny feeling. Her brown hair and sky blue eyes are an amazing contrast. She's just so beautiful. "You you wanna go grab a bite tomorrow?" "Ummmm," she says, " I don't know." "I'll pick you up at five," I say as the bell rings and I get up to leave.
