Two weeks later. . . . . .
My cast had been finally taken off. Today, I walked around our neighborhood with my friend Chasity, she was a few years older than me and had a daughter. "So, you can't dance anymore huh?" She asked me silently, not wanting to upset me very much. "Yeah, doctor says that my knee is to shattered. I may have sudden pain every now and then for a while." I replied. She nodded. "Hey, so. I know you may not want to go, but there's this really cool dance team and they're having a competition tonight. Wanna go?" Chasity asked me. I nodded, unsure of how I was going to like seeing people dance knowing I can't dance ever again.
As we walked into a big tall building, I saw tons of dance teams all stretching, waiting to be called up to the stage. But one team really caught my eye. She quickly got out the schedule to see what team it was, Fire Blaster, not a bad team. Team captains, Stacy and Derek. Cute couple. She looked up quickly, hearing a hey being called from across the stadium. Stacy was walking towards her. "Hey, I'm Stacy Goodwill, my parents own Goodwill. This is my boyfriend Derek." She motioned to the boy next to her. "We saw you checking out our crew an decided to say hi since you looked like a fan. But I think I should be saying hi. You're Cathy Montgomery! I have watched your YouTube videos, all of them. Actually, the reason why this team is here now is because of your squad." She said quickly, surprised at this information Cathy smiled and said, "Yeah, I thought you guys looked cool. Especially since your the only girl." They all laughed and said they're goodbyes as the couple walked onto stage with the rest of their team, adding flips and cartwheels.
After the team did their dance, which was the whip and nae nae, Stacy and Derek invited Cathy and Chasity, who add been flirting with Derek's twin, out for pizza. "You guys killed it!" Cathy yelled out as they found a big table in the pizza parlor. "Yeah, it was pretty fun. Its even more fun when your team gets their moves right!" Stacy yelled out, eyeballing Derek's twin, Devin. "Sorry, I was focused on an angel." Devin said, kissing Chasity's hand. She giggled like a child. "So, how come you haven't posted any videos lately? You, know? Dancing videos." Stacy turned to me and asked me quietly. "Um," I said, lifting up my pant leg to show her the scar from my cast. "I tripped at my last dance recital, um, Cynthia, tripped me. I broke my leg, and shattered my knee. I can't dance ever again." I said, tears filling my eyes. She rubbed my back. "Come on guys, let's show her the hideout." Stacy said, motioning for her team to pack up and get a move on. Curious as to what she was even talking about, I followedHey guys, so, yeah, this is my new update! I hope you like it!! Fyi, sorry for making it so short. And horrible. Lol. Peace
