A/N: hey loves, I'm starting to get back into the mood of writing, I'm writing this chapter just so I can catch up more quickly so Ange and I are at least starting to get on the same pace💕💕 (also have you heard Ariana's new Christmas & Chill songs?! Omg it slays me! 😂)

Melanie's POV

I wake to the sweet sound of my phone ringing. I groan as I grab it and answer without looking at the caller ID.

"Hello?" I say tiredly.

"Hi Mel, it's Hannah, I'm sorry if I woke you up but if you have time would we be able to catch up properly? Like can I sleepover? Or at least come over?"

"yeah you did wake me up bumhole" I laugh into the phone. "But yeah it's fine, I'll ask Jai or Ari if you can come over in about in an hour"

"Sorry haha and alright thanks, well I'm gonna get myself pretty now haha cya, and text me your address"

"will do, byee" and with that I hang up and hop out of bed. I change into a white muscle tee that says "No one in particular" in a black heart and black and white giraffe print shorts from JayJays. I slip on a pink beanie that says 'SWAG' on it and a few bracelets. I quickly text Hannah our address then sit down. Just as I'm about to read some fanfiction; I hear Angela fangirling.

"What's all this noise??" I ask her, leaning against her door frame.

I stare at Ange's phone as she holds it in front of my face, what in the world? I'm highly confused right- oh. I squeal so bad as I realise Lady Gaga tweeted about her.

"That's awesome! But seriously, shut the hell up, you're probably gonna piss the neighbours off!" I say while laughing.

"Hahaha yeah I will! But AGHH my queen!"

I roll my eyes as I leave the room. My phone chimes as I step into my room, I take it out of my pocket to find yet another 10 comments on my recent post on instagram, all hate comments I might add. Why is this world so cruel? If 11:11 wishes came true, I would wish for all kinds of hate in this world to disappear. Should I reply? No.. But if I don't they'll think they've hit a soft spot. I post a pastel grunge picture that says "happiness" and start typing the caption.

(for this part lets just pretend my character made it up and Ari's song focus just inspired it, okay? okay)

'The first line in Focus is "I know what I came to do and that ain't gonna change." What Ari, Jai, Ange and I came to do in this world is not only entertain but to love, to share, to listen, to improve, to learn, to share music, to share experience, to share feelings, to make people feel happi and in power, to make people feel like they're not alone. Without using our voices to do those things, we would feel empty. When we say focus on me, we're not asking to be the centre of attention, we're not asking you to focus on our clothes, on our faces, on our bodies or our singing voices by focus on me we literally mean focus on me, on what we're all about and what we believe in. The more we focus on each other as people, not what we look like, what we're wearing, our gender, our hairstyle, our sexuality, the colour of our skin, but focus on each other on a soul level. The more we realise how much we have in common, the more we listen to each other, the more we can become. You judge because you don't focus on me, you don't focus on each other, you judge because you focus on appearance, on clothes, you focus on what you want from me, what you want from people, how you want them to wear their hair, you judge me, you wanna see me dress a certain way, how you wanna see them wear their makeup, do their eyebrows, you focus on what you think people should be like for you, but when you actually focus on them, you see the light in them. When you focus on me, you see the light in me, when you focus on each other, you see the light in each other and even if you don't, this is who we are, what are we making fun of, what's there to make fun of?
