The Awkward Meeting.

It was my very first day at Ouran Academy. I had recently moved to Japan, from my home town of London. My family had uprooted both myself and my sister, due to our father inheriting a large company from our grandmother.

Whilst we had always been a wealthy family, due to our bloodline and our knack for having shares in the right companies, now we were deemed to be elite and only the best was expected, meaning we had to move here and go to this fancy school.

I had already had a rough day, with one of the rather rich, jealous girls shoving me into the lake, which meant my uniform was drenched. I was lucky that I had some dry clothes in my bag, though they were nothing spectacular. I had packed a simple pair of grey skinny jeans and an oversized black sweater, that had a cat in a wizards hat on it, as well as a pair of black doc martens.

Mere minutes after changing, one of the girls decided it would be fun to chop my hair off at the pony tail, which was utterly upsetting. I found myself standing in the bathroom, trying to sort it out. I ended up with an undercut and hair that flopped to one side, with the rest of my long black hair now gone.

I straightened my simple black ray ban prescription glasses and gathered my books, before I went back to looking for a place to study. I had just about searched the entire school, when I came across an abandoned music room. It was silent, so I opened the door and walked inside, where I proceeded to trip over my own foot and break a table, that held a lot of expensive china.

"Oh no. Not again." I heard a voice say, which made me look up. Sitting on a couch, was a group of attractive men. The one with glasses was shaking his head at me, which upset me. The tall blonde frowned a little, along with the rather young looking blonde and the tall black haired man. There were also two twins, one of which turned his nose up at me. The other stood and made his way over. The last person looked sympathetic, but had to return to whatever they were doing.

Still amidst the rubble, I tried to stand, only to put my hand on one of the broken pieces of china and cut it. I winced at the pain, only to squeak when someone suddenly offered me a hand. "Here." his gentle voice said. "Let me help you." He sounded so kind and caring.

I accepted his hand and let him pull me up, before I dusted myself off and looked at the mess. "I am so sorry... I'll pay for it, I swear." I felt so bad.

The tall man with glasses laughed and nodded. "Indeed you will be." he said, shaking his head. "As with Haruhi, you can pay it off by working for us." He then stood and disappeared through a door.

I must have looked extremely confused, as the young man who has helped me up, spoke again. "We're part of a host club, ya see? So what he means is, you can join us and pay off your debt that way." He gave me a smile and a pat on the shoulder, before his brother handed me a uniform. "Go put this on. We have a party in half an hour." He sounded so bored and annoyed with me. What had I done to him?

Instead of speaking up though, I just nodded and took the bag, disappearing behind he changing room curtains. I pulled on the... male uniform? Hmm, this was odd. I sighed and stepped out to join them though. "Wow. It suits you." The tall blonde said.

I didn't even know their names. This was getting weirder by the second. Suddenly, the rather short and extremely young looking blonde was swinging from my arm. "You look adorable!" He squealed.

Finally, the man with the glasses returned. "I guess introductions are necessary." He said, looking at the others. All the boys lined up, leaving me to stand alone. "I'm Kyouya Ootori. Vice-president of the host club."

Next, was the tall blonde. "I'm Tamaki Suoh. President of the Host Club. But you can call me King." He gave me a wink and bowed, before the next person appeared in front of him.

"I'm Mitsukuni Haninozuka, but everyone calls me Honey. Do you like cake? I like cake!" Okay, I was starting to wonder how old this kid really was. "And this is Takashi Morinozuka... He doesn't talk much."

Next was the short brunette, who I kind of heard about before. "I'm Haruhi Fujioka. Welcome to the host club." Haruhi said, kindly.

Lastly, were the two twins. The one who seemed bored with everything stepped forward. "I'm Hikaru Hitachiin." was all that he said, before he pulled his phone out and started to play a game.

Finally, the nice young man had stepped forward and smiled at me. "And I'm Kaoru Hitachiin. Nice to meet you." He was so friendly and kind.

Kyouya then looked at me and coughed, which reminded me; I needed to introduce myself. "I... I'm Ren... Ren Kitsuji."

"Welcome to the Ouran Academy Host Club, Ren!" They all chimed.
