Levi Brown^^

I couldn't sleep last night. What Corbin said to me kept replaying in my head. I never thought he felt that away about me. What made him change his feelings so suddenly?
I could barely pay attention in any of my morning classes. It's lunch time and Corbin is no where to be found so I resort to sitting by myself. I put my headphones in and zone out. I notice someone sit in front of me, I look up and it's Logan.
"Do you need something?" I ask with a stern face.
"Please just listen to me. Natalie means nothing to me." I roll my eyes,
"I don't have time for this." I start to stand up but he grabs my wrist. I pull my arm away and slowly sit back down.
"Will you at least give me a chance to explain myself?" Logan pleads. I cross my arms, waiting for him to proceed. "I've liked you for a long time but I always thought you and Corbin were a thing. I started asking around and everyone said you were just friends, so I took a shot. When we went for coffee, I thought I could really have a chance. Then Natalie showed up. I really like you Addie."
I hear the bell, I bite my lip in frustration.
"You barely even know me." I blurt out. I grab my things and head to my next class. Logan is faster then I think because he catches up to me.
What's the worst that can happen if I give him a chance?
"Fine, fine. One more chance but after that you leave me alone." I state bluntly. A big smile appears on his face. I walk into my next class leaving him standing in the hallway.

I return home and Levi is laying on the floor watching Paw Patrol. A sweet smelling aroma comes from the kitchen. I can't help but to investigate to find what it is. I walk into the kitchen and see my mom baking chocolate chip cookies, double chocolate might I add. I try to sneak a lick from the spoon, but my mom smacks my hand. I frown, but go for another shot at getting a lick. I wait until she turns around to strike. I'm about to get my chance when the doorbell rings. I jerk my hand back before my mom turns around. I walk into the living room, I see Levi isn't phased that someone is at the door.
Him and his Paw Patrol
I open the door to reveal a box sitting on our Welcome mat. Cliché, I know, but my mom though it was "cute".
"Mom, there's a package for you!" I yell over my shoulder. She comes up behind me and grabs the box. She takes it in to the kitchen and I trail behind her. She grabs a knife to cut the tape. When she opens the box, there is a letter and glass wrapped in newspapers.
"What does the note say?" I curiously ask unwrapping one of the glasses. She skims through the letter.
"It's from your grandma, she is wanting us to have her collection. She knew we would take good care of it." I hold up a dish that is turquoise with a design in the middle. It really was beautiful. I hand it over to my mom so she can look at it. I sit on a bar stool watching my mom dig through the rest of the box.
"So, I'm giving Logan another chance." My mom looks up at me and sighs.
"I trust you on your choices Addie but that boy. There is something about him I don't quiet trust." I nod understanding what she means.
"I just wanted him to leave me alone. I mean I have liked him for a long time. Apparently he has for the same for me."
"Just do what you believe is right sweetie." She kisses my forehead and walks down the hallway.
I really wish Corbin would talk to me. I go and watch tv with Levi to get my mind off of everything. I rest my eyes and doze off while Levi crawls into my lap humming along to the music on tv.
