I heaved my large rucksack onto my back, my shoulder blades digging into the contents of the dirty ancient bag, as I let my back click, top to bottom. My arms fell down and relaxed, while I looked over at the left side of my room, right under the large window, where the desk was located. On it lay a small leaflet of Paris and the catacombs. I strode over and gently picked it up, quickly reading about the dark tunnels underneath France. A loud bang rang out through the small house, followed with a slight ow. Still clutching the leaflet in my right hand, I wandered over to my door. Gingerly pushing it, it swung open, and laying in front of me was a long, blonde haired girl, with rosy cheeks and a massive grin. "Hey Sue!" I said, as I reached for her hand to help her up. "Hey Evie! You ready? We're going to leave in 10" Sue replied in a joyful tone, as I quickly grabbed my trainers and ran downstairs. Stopping on the third to last step, I jumped in the air and landed with a loud thud, on the dark wooden floor. Now facing the coat hanger, covered in numerous jackets and coats, I turned right and straight through an open door way. Stood in front of me and Sue where 5 people. Three being my friends, Dan, Joe and Tommy, and the other two being my parents. "Hey, we all leaving now?" I asked in response of everyone being there. My Mama clambered towards me, hugging me for 2 minutes straight. "I love you Yvonne, now be careful down those catacombs. Remember to send me letters, keep me updated!" She rushed out of her mouth, and then kissed both my cheeks twice, my Papa then quickly came over and put his left hand, gently, on my shoulder. "Take care Yvonne!", he leant down and kissed my left cheek.

After my parents kindly, but also briefly, said goodbye to all of my friends, we finally left. We walked to the train station, which was luckily a few blocks away from us, and got onto the first train. Waiting impatiently, I tapped my fingers against my smooth jumper, looking around at my friends. Sue and Joe were arguing about Twilight and Harry Potter, Dan was playing pokemon on his gameboy, making faces as if it was the newest iPhone, and Tommy was sitting next to me, looking just as impatient as I probably was. He turned to look at me, then whispered "Dan's a bit sad isn't he", smiling I nodded and replied "He's a great guy though, he did agree to coming to Paris"
"Strange though isn't it, not like him to agree to something like that! He's weird, but great!"
"Remember that time when I pranked him into thinking he pissed all over our teacher, when really I spilt my drink." Tommy burst out laughing, as a flashing image came into my mind of Dan staring in shock, at our old History teacher, who's leg was drenched in water.

At last we boarded the aeroplane. Shuffling my feet towards two comfy seats, in the row, on the left. Tommy squeezed through a large crowd, eventually, finding me and slumped in to his chair. "Tough work, trying to get through two crowds, one being full of teenage girls fan-girling over a picture of Robert Pattinson, one of the worst actors I've ever seen, and the other full of elderly couples trying to reach to the luggage shelves with out falling over". Giggling, I reached for my rucksack, and pulled out my water bottle. As my hands wrapped around the small, rough lid cap, I replied to Tommy with, "At least you aren't sitting behind a snoring old man", I unscrewed the lid, and then pointed to where Dan and Sue sat. Tommy chuckled, as Joe came striding over. "Hey guys. I'm sitting behind you two by the way so no kissing". He threw himself into the aeroplane seat, laughing so much he snorted. Me and Tommy have been shipped ever since I was 12, and he was 13. I lifted my water bottle to my mouth, letting the slightly warm liquid flow down my throat. "Now remind me again why we went on an aeroplane when we could of gone on a ferry?" I asked, after swallowing another mouth full of water. "Joe's afraid of the sea, and we're trying to get everyone to have the best time they can get, and that doesn't include Joe spewing everywhere!" I lightly laughed, as I groped around in my bag, trying to grab my headphones. My finger tips lightly stroked the top of a smooth, arch-like shape. Figuring out that the arch was my headphones, I pulled it out and plugged it into my phone. With a tap, my music boomed into my ears, filling me with a temptation to burst out singing and dancing. My eyelids started to get heavy, and my head started to droop. Before I could let my self sleep, small delicate wisps of black covered my view of the surroundings around me, finally realising that it was Tommy's hair, I lifted my head to see Tommy's eyes meeting mine. Bright blue watery eyes, with a few specks of gold, dreamingly staring back at me. My head was gingerly resting on his shoulder, and his hand was kindly clutching my hand. Something tapped my arm, and I quickly turned around to see Joe mouth, "Take the move", suddenly realising that we looked like a young couple, I swiftly lifted my head and started looking out the window. Tommy burst out laughing, his sweet subtle laughs echoed through the aeroplane. I risked a glance, and accidentally caught his eye. "What's so funny?" I questioned. He nodded his head towards the small gap in between our seats, where our hands lay still clutching each over tightly. "Oh.." I breathed, staring at our hands in shock, while Tommy stopped laughing, but his joyful smile still there. My exclaim of shock suddenly changed to a cry of laughter, making Tommy join in. His chest going up and down as small peaceful, giggles escaped from his mouth. With out even thinking I leaned in towards Tommy, our hands still clutching each over. Soon all I could see was his eyes, full of joy and love, as we kissed.
