I woke up to find myself in a crate. I looked through the peephole on my left, confused.

I realized that I was on some type of a boat...? How'd I get here? And why do I have a huge headache? Did I get knocked out?

"Is Val going to finally pay us this time? My back hurts from carrying all those bodies." I heard a male voice say.

Bodies? Wha- Before I could finish my thought my crate lurched forward.

Unprepared for this sudden movement, my head smashes the side of the crate.

Someone grunted as I was lifted in the air.

They took a couple of steps before putting me down somewhere else.

I looked through the peephole and took a sharp intake of air.

I bet you're wondering why huh?

Maybe because I'm on a boat in the middle of the fucking ocean.

I felt light raindrops fall on my face. I saw a white streak of lightning hit the boat and heard the thunder seconds later.

Something else flashed.

Smoke filled the air.

I felt rain again. Except this time it came faster and in bigger drops.

The boat rocked back and forth uncontrollably. My crate was thrown somewhere else on the boat.

I heard a crack on the crate and before I can bust the crate open I was thrown overboard.

I saw the boat burst in flames before I slipped into the darkness.

"Caw! Caw Caw!" Ugh, stupid birds!

Always being annoying as hell.

My eyes widened as I realized what I just heard. They don't have birds in heaven do they?

I sat up and looked around. There was a forest behind me. I looked in front of me and saw the ocean.

I noticed I was on a island...

...with no human's in sight.

Wow. I just ruined a perfectly great moment. I'm alive! I should be happy!

'Except you won't last long here' a small voice in the back of my mind whispered.

I sighed. No wonder I didn't die in the ocean. Obviously nature wanted to torture me THEN kill me. Okay then, nature that's how you gonna play?

BRING IT ON.

...all or nothing.

I love that movie btw.

Jeez, what is wrong with me? I'm sitting here ramling in my head about Bring It On movies wow.

I need to go survive man. So I started strutting up the shore, when I felt cold water seep down my clothes.

I groaned. Talk about bad timing.

I took my shirt and skinnies off and layed them on a rock nearby.

I was currently wearing my undies, bra, and tanktop.

When my clothes dried I swapped them with my tank, bra, and underwear by putting my dry clothes on and laying my underwear, tank, and bra on the rock so they can dry.

Yeah I know. Its gross that I'm wearing my jeans without underwear, but a girl gotta do what she gotta do!

My stomach growled. I should go look for some food.

I walked into the forest but made sure that I was close to shore.

I glanced up at the trees they were all bare except for one.

I walked towards the tree and reached for the closest branch. I was on my tippy toes about to grab the red fruit. I reached towards it, I was so close I could taste it. Almost ther-

"I wouldn't eat that if I were you." a voice pipped up.

Startled, I fell back. Shit.

I turned my head to look at where the voice cane from.

A girl about 17, a year older than me was leaning on the trunk of a nearby tree. She had stick straight brown hair, heart shaped face with striking blue eyes.

Woah. I always thought I was at least a little attractive with my loose blonde hair, tear drop shaped face with a cute button nose and green eyes. But this girl made me feel self concious.

"Why not?" I asked.

She looked amused. "Because those are poisinous."

Oh. Okay. I look dumb now. I'll just slowly put the fruit down..

I let out a really fake laugh. I swear I sounded high, my voice pitched everywhere.

The girl plugged her ears as she laughed. "You should really tell me when you're going to laugh because girl, I think my ears will fall off hearing that!" she joked.

I laughed for real this time. "I'm Kayla, you can call me Kay though."

"Kay?" She asked.

"Yeah, like for instance, 'kay boo' or the element 'K' for potassium."

She laughed. "No, I know your name, I meant to ask you a question."

I flushed. "Oh. Okay, ask away!"

She smiled. "Would you like go stay in my cabin with me?"

I opened my mouth to say yes but she interrupted.

"I mean its okay if you don't want to.."she trailed off.

I gaped at her. "Of course I would!"

She grinned. "Really?"

"Really."I promised.

We head off and..Damn! I forgot to ask her for her name! Oh well. I'll ask later.

We approached a clearing with just only a small cabin and just as small garden.

"This is it." She waved her hand at the cabin.

"What's your name?" I asked before I forgot.

"Tori."

"Short for Victoria?" I asked.

She nodded.

I smiled. "What a pretty name."

"Thanks" she said shyly.

...

I was lying in a small cot Tori made for me as I thought about the events today.

I'm glad I met Tori, and not some selfish greedy bitch.

Little did I know that being friends with Tori is the biggest mistake I've ever made in my entire life.
