" Mom all my friends have phones and I need one so I can call them," Destiny complained.

"No, you don't need a phone you want one," my mother answered.

I grabbed a box of my posters and set them on the moving truck. My dad held some ancient lamp my grandma gave my mom. My dad threw it in the trash. My mom grabbed the lamp out of the trash and set it in a box. My sister came out holding a box of magazines, she pulled out one and after my mom went into the house. She showed him a picture of a phone.

"Sure anything for you princess," he smiled.

"I already told you Destiny NO phone," my mom said.

"Your just saying that cause your moods," she retorted.

" Destiny I may be pregnant but this phone thing isn't from that," my mother snapped.

"Sweetie, I think it is it's fine I can get her a new phone when I get the money," my dad chuckled.

My mom walked back into the house to get more boxes. I sat on the edge of the truck. Two girls walked by they were also moving to New York and maybe I can get them attracted to me. I flexed my muscles they rolled their eyes and walked away. I grabbed some boxes and sat them in the truck.

"Finished, let's hit the road family," my dad said.

I sat in the back of the truck. My mom thought this would be a good idea to move out of state. My mom was a rich business owner and my dad was a retired marine. He now owned a mall in NYC. My mother said, "Kids, don't you think this will be a great adjustment for all of us."

"Not if I can't have a phone," Destiny snapped.

"Your dad will get you a phone but not with that attitude young lady," She said.

Destiny rolled her eyes. My mom started to yell at her. My dad calmed her down. Destiny read a book and it was quiet the whole drive. The drive was 20 hours. I fell asleep half of the car ride. The car jerked me awake we were stuck in New York City traffic. We finally got to the apartment.

"Wow this is nice like a mansion but in a apartment," Destiny gasped.

"Well let's unpack we should be done later tonight. Kendra you sit down with Destiny," my dad said.

Me and my dad took boxes upstairs. The house was furnished with six bedrooms so we brought our magazines, posters, desk, laptops, and televisions. We finished unpacking and sitting everything in the rooms.

"Time for you guys to go to bed," my mother said.

I got ready for bed I went to sleep easily.
