(A/N) Lief readers of mine, within this wall of flesh, there is a soul that counts thee its creditor for coming again! my most humble apology for taking ov'r a week to fill thee in. I wilt continueth to writeth this story.

Jazz's door opened an inch, letting the boy outside see in. "What's up Danny?"

Danny looked at his sister with an unreadable face, "I need to talk to you." He pushed the door open the rest of the way, causing it to emit a groan.

His sister stepped back to let him in, "What about? Is there a problem? Do you need advice?"

He rolled his eyes at the interrogation "I just want to... talk." He raised a hand to rub the back of his neck, a nervous habit.

She gave him a pointed look and pointed at her bed, "Sit down then." He did. "Now, spill."

He tried to smile but it appeared to be more of a pained grimace, "Well... Jazz... I know you don't really like, or believe in ghosts for that matter... but, what if you did? Do you think... they're evil?"

She gave him a searching look that felt like it lasted a little bit to long, "Danny, what is this about?"

He frowned at looked at his shoes, they had begun to kick at the bed, "Well... remember when mom and dad built the portal? And how.. it didn't really work?"

She waved her hand in a gesture for him to continue, nodding as she did.

"Well... remember how right after that it started working?"

she nodded again, "And?"

"Well... THATWASME!" he blurted out the last part and felt his face flush red.

"How?"

"I... turned it on."

She scowled, "Yeah I got that Danny. But how? Don't you think mom and dad would've known to do that?"

"Well... it's just... The 'on' was on the inside."

Oh....

"I thought I-I died, y'know?" He was clearly shaking, "Maybe I did too..."

Jazz finally figured out where this was going, "Danny." She put her hands on his shoulders, standing up. "I know."

"What?" He lifted teary eyes up to hers.

"I know."

So, doth thou get the lingo? ;)

Anyway, I know, nine days I'm just a demon aren't I? Well, it's Christmas break, that's part of the reason it's short. More parts = Some shorter parts. See? Hyo logic.
