Ch. 3

It was early morning on a Saturday.

Beep Beep Beep

BEEEEEEEP!!!!!!

My phone ringed. The first three beeps meant i got a text from a stranger and the long beep was from Ed. Ugh. I picked it off my bedstand and squinted at the bright screen.

Ed!! : Hey babe. Im sorry. Forgive me? Wanna talk it out at the new diner?

Unknown : Morning :) Have a good sleep? -Andy

My eyes widened. How did he get my number?! I opened a new reply to send to Andy and my fingers flew across the keyboard.

Me : Hey and yea my sleep was pretty good. Howd you get my number..?

I hit send. I looked back at Ed's text and ignored it. I was mad at him. He didnt trust me anymore and it was obvious.

But then I decided to send him a reply too.

Me : Forget it. You can forget we ever went out for the last two months. You obviously dont trust me and i dont trust you anymore after what happened last night. Were done.

I stared at my reply for about a minute and sent it. Me and Ed were officially done. I sighed and put my phone back. I rolled over to continue my sleep but my phone beeped three times. I immediately got up and read it.

Unknown : You gave it to me last night at the park. Remember? Anyways, I was thinking maybe we can hang out today again. I dont have any plans and im lonely.

I got out of bed and found my mom in the kitchen. "GOOOOOD MORNING MINNNAAAAA!!!", she echoed through the house. "Eggs?", she offered. I shook my head and asked if we had plans today.

"None that i know of." She said.

"Mkay."

"Thinking of hanging with Ed today?"

"No... I broke up with him.."

She smiled.

"What?"

"For the record, I never liked him. He was kinda conceded."

"Whatever. Its a friend from school named Andy."

"Ooh! The really emo guy from the talent show?"

"Yea."

"Hes kinda cute! Oh honey you have fun!"

I rushed upstairs and dressed into a cute outfit. I texted Andy.

Me : Im free (: Where are we going? Im dressed and ready to go! Are we gonna meet up or..?

I sent it. I was so excited!! I bounced up and down into my restroom and put light eyeliner around my eyes. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. "HONEEY!! YOU HAVE A VISITOR!!" Mom screamed from the kitchen. I shoved my phone into my pocket and ran downstairs. Right in front of our staircase was Andy, wearing his smile and a black Suicide Silence shirt with black skinny jeans along with black vans. His black shoulder length hair was messy to emphasize the look and i smiled. He looked the same as always but even cuter today. "Hey", he said. "Why hello there Mr Sixx!" I said enthusiastically and we both laughed. My mom smiled and told us to drive safe as we left the front door. "She seems nice", he told me in his black mustang. "Shes actually crazier than she seems", I laugh. "Alrighty then. Where are we going, Miss Mina?", he asked. I immediately had the feeling to watch a movie so instead of saying where i said "I shall tell you where to go, my dear Andy." We were now behind the line wondering what movie to watch. I checked the time and it was 12:34 pm. I also had a text from Ed. My lock screen showed

Ed : Well screw you. I cheated on you and i was going to make it up to you. Have fun without me. Youre a .....

That was all i saw and i just sighed.

"You alright?," Andy asked. "Of course. Im with you. Why would i be down?" I faked a smile. "Guuuuuurl! Dont you be faking that smile!", Andy mocked me. I laughed and smiled for real and we decided to watch Warm Bodies. Then we ordered a large popcorn and two drinks. Inside the theater room, he put his arm around me and I leaned my head on his shoulder. At the end of the movie, we had finished the food we ate and we were at the scene were R and the girl were on the wall talking to each other. Unexpectedly, Andy whispered to me. "Ive liked you since the first week of school." Then he got up and lifted my head with his hand below my chin and leaned forward. "I really like you." He said. Then he pressed his lips against mine. I was shocked but I guess i liked him too because i closed my eyes and kissed him back. His arms wrapped around my waist and I ran my fingers through his hair. Our lips synced and it felt so good. I felt him smile through the kiss and i smiled back. Then the movie ended and the lights turned on. We let go and got up. He took my hand as we left the theater. "I forgot to tell you that I broke up with Ed." I said. "Well then you are mine. Whether or not you call me your boyfriend, you are mine and i am yours", he smiled as he swung our hands back and forth. "I'd be okay with calling you my boyfriend.", I smiled back. "Well then." He spoke as he got on his knees. Holy shit. He better not ask me to marry him. We were only juniors for christ sake. "Dont worry, Mina. Im not proposing to you!" He got back up and ran his fingers through his hair and laughed. "Im messing with you." He interlocked our hands again and asked "Will you, Mina, go out with me?" He said while batting his eyes. "Of course, you big doof!" We both laughed and got into his car. It was 2:46 and we had nothing better to do so he drove me to his house so we could just chill.
