Me and Phil are sitting on the couch watching the news and eating cereal. Phil with shreddies, me with lucky charms. The lady on the news is talking about all the traffic and events of the day until she says something that I would've never believed unless it was in the news, which it was. "There seems to be a corpse break out! Run everybody! AAAH--" Her sentence was cut off when the camera man fell down, and there seemed to be live dead people eating the man. Nature to Phil, wide eyed. "This can't be real, it's just a prank!" Phil says, but in the tone of his voice I know that he's actually nervous. "You're right," I gulp.
  We turn off the tv, and I assume my browsing position.

I go onto my tumblr and nearly everything is in all caps and there's screenshots of the news from this morning. "I SAW ONE OUTSIDE MY ROOM" "DID YOU SEE THE NEWS" "The lame-o's who actually believe that..pfftt" "ITS REAL ITS REAL I SAW IT HAPPEN"

"Phil, look." I show Phil my computer screen. "Is this actually real? Are...are we gonna die and turn into them like how it happens in TV shows?" Phil says worriedly. "No, we would need to stay alive, even if it was fake or something." I say, holding onto Phil's hand. "Okay, Dan." he nods.
