I Will Never Let Go Again [Isaac Lahey Love Story]

Chapter 7

He told me everything. Of course at first I didn't believe him or I guess didn't want to believe him. The fact that your boyfriend was now a werewolf was a little frightening to say the least. I was actually skeptical until he showed me how he could grow out his claws. I was completely shocked, I was always one to be interested in supernatural things but I never believed in them. They always seemed to good to be true.

I wasn't sure if I was even happy with his decision until he told me the reason why. He wanted to have power. Who doesn't want to have power? Especially against a father that beat you on a daily basis. He also explained to me he would have to go into "training" with Derek to learn how to control it, especially on the full moon.

I wasn't sure how I felt about Derek. Considering he turned my boyfriend into a monster. He seemed extremely powerful since he was the alpha and I just had a strange feeling that I wouldn't really like him once I met him the way Isaac described him.

*The next day*

The full moon was in a couple of days and Isaac had to meet up with Derek after school for him to start learning how to control himself from turning when he didn't want to.

We were all sitting at lunch, me, Isaac, Lydia, Scott, Allison, Jackson, Stiles, and Danny when all of a sudden a majority of the lunch room quieted down. All of the guys were gawking at the doorway, while the girls seemed to have confused or shocked looks on their faces.

I turned around to see.. Erika? She wasn't dressed in her usual sweatpants and over sized t-shirts. She had on a very short black leather skirt, a white shirt that went way to far down, a black leather jacket, and huge stiletto heels. Her make up was done for once and her acne was completely gone.

The only thing I was thinking was how the same thing basically happened to Isaac. Derek must have gotten to her as well.

She stopped at a table full of guys and grabbed an apple taking a bite out of it before batting her eyelashes and making her way over to our table.

She walked behind Isaac her hand slowly traveling over his shoulder onto his neck lingering there way to long before taking it off. Her eyes were on me the whole time as I watched before tearing my eyes away looking behind her. It was the first day I actually had any form of contact with her and she was already getting to me? Isaac looked down at his food obviously uncomfortable especially since I was there.

"Hey boys," She said taking another bite of her apple before looking out the window obviously looking for something.

I looked at Scott and Stiles they were giving each other looks almost as if they were thinking the same thing as me. Did they know anything about werewolfs? About Derek? The way they were acting was telling me they did.

I saw a black Chevy Camaro pull into the school parking lot. Erika looked over at Scott, his mouth was completely open seeing the car. "Well Scott, looks like Derek is here," she said smiling before standing up giving Isaac a wink before strutting off.

I tore my eyes off of her looking at Scott. He looked ...angry. The whole table was quiet before Lydia spoke up. "What the holy hell was that?" She said before taking out her mirror and fixing her lipstick. Scott quickly stood up and ran out of the lunchroom "Scott?!" Stiles yelled after him. But he was already out of the door.

I looked at Isaac he seemed like he knew what was going on. We made eye contact and I cocked my head a little bit, he grabbed my hand before standing up and dragging me out of the lunch room.

He stopped once we were down the hall away from everyone. "Is she..?" I started before stopping seeing him nod. "Derek is making a pack. We are stronger in packs. But he needs at least three, and I don't know who he is going to get next." He said not losing eye contact with me.

"OK.. but Scott. He seemed to know something about it."

"Yeah.. Derek turned him as well. But he is refusing to be in a pack with him. Derek didn't necessarily give him a choice."

I stayed silent trying to take all of this in. Suddenly the bell rang and people started pouring out of their classrooms.

"Listen, meet me after school I want you to come with me to go see Derek. I need to learn to control my self. Especially around you." He said a smirk forming on his face as he stepped closer to me.

I didn't really want to meet Derek yet but I guess I didn't really have a choice. We quickly said our goodbyes before heading off to our last class.
