My pounded as my eyes fluttered open...my heart froze, I gasped in shock,
M-m-Maddie?"
"Shhhhhhhh, Don't scream!" The same beautiful girl with light brown wringlets and sparkling blue eyes said softly, taking out her jungle red lipstick and reapplying a fresh layer
"W-w-what are you doing here!"
"Well when I heard you might die, I had to come see you, I didn't care how risky it was"
"Maddie what happened that night, did you go see some boy?"
"Oh Kendie sweetie" she said sweetly sitting in the edge of the bed and brushing her hand over my forehead, "You already know what happened, you remember more about that night than you think you do!"
"Maddie why did you leave?Please, just tell me the truth!"
"Kendal, telling the truth to the wrong people at the wrong time is what got me where I am, take it from me, you're always better off with a really good lie!" She advised, before disappearing through the corridors, everything began spinning, the world became blurry, I suddenly began to smell a familiar vanilla scent, and before I knew it my eyelids became heavy and my eyes shut...
