As soon as the drink is placed in my hand I take a sip. Nothing has helped me coupe so far, might as well try the usual fix. Jamie led me into the kitchen where she fixed herself another drink making sure to get the exact mix of Vodka and Coke. Classy Jamie, classy.

"Lets move into the den, Alex! I see plenty of guys in there that would sure love to see you!" Jamie yells above the crowd. I rolled my eyes knowing that no guy would look at me like that. She gave me a harsh glare and with that I was dragged into the opposite room.

The first thing to be noticed was the dark haired girl dancing on the table. She captured the entire room just by dancing, every guy in sight had his eyes on her, and I must say she was gorgeous. Jamie also noticed this letting out a huff. We came here to 'have a good time' and so far I was hot, drinking this disgusting drink, and watching a girl show herself to a group of guys. It couldn't get much better than this.

I looked at Jamie who I could see was still watching the girl dance on the table. "Why are we still watching this?" I asked Jamie who then turned to look at me.

"We are getting ideas of course!" She responded rolling her eyes as if it was a stupid question. Getting ideas? "Ideas for what?" I asked confused. And with that Jamie took my hand and pulled me onto the opposite end of the table.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? NO. LET ME GO!" I screamed as she gripped onto my arm. "Alex would you chill out! Just dance!" There was not nearly enough alcohol in my system for me to dance in front of this group of guys.

Had she completely lost her mind! The second her grip loosened I jumped off the table and ran for the outside porch. Even with the fresh air I felt closed in and annoyed with the people still surrounding me. It was time to leave. This was when I realized why she wanted to take one car. I couldn't go any where without Jamie, and she didn't seem to be leaving anytime soon.

Maybe it was time I finally cut loose. With this last thought I walked into the kitchen and poured another drink. With the new cup filled in my hand I walked into the den to see if Jamie was still 'performing' for the group. I was surprised when I walked in and saw there was no one on the table. I thought for sure the dark haired girl would at least still be there.

I then turn around to look for Jamie when I see him.

His dark eyes pierce through my skin and I feel like I'm going to throw up. I look away, then back only to realize he was walking in my direction. Straight towards me to be exact. I turn around ready to run when he calls my name, "Alex! Alex wait!" Asher yells through the crowded room. I knew this party was a bad idea, and now I might actually end up worse than when I first arrived.

I slowly turn around to see he is standing right infront of me. "Hey." He says quietly so only I can hear. I don't answer his greeting so he continues, "Can we talk, Alex? Please." He begs.

I have no idea what I'm going to say to the once loved boy infront of me, but decided that any thing he will say can not break me any worse then I already am. "Upstairs, we can talk upstairs." I say and follow him to the spirled staircase.
