Okay so right now we are at the most lit party of the year. Everyone from both high schools are here. "All the hot guys are here" my bestfriend jill said. "Yeah even Matthew Espinosa." "OMG Mar you've only been crushing on him for 8 years if I do recall" "Shut up!" I yelled then Jill pointed behind me as I turn around to see Matthew making out with some preppy senior. "WHAT IS THIS!" "OMG I'm going to the bathroom I'll be back!" I ran into the nearest stall I could find and started crying so hard I couldn't stop the tears from falling out. The only person I've ever liked just came back and I find him exchanging silva with some random senior! This party was supposed to be the time I get Matthew but no...*talking to self*
Okay Marlee you can do it you can pull yourself together you got this. You just gotta go out there and have the time of your life you gotta kiss as many boys as it takes you have to make Matt beg. I pull out my sparkly pink makeup bag and make me look hot, crimped hair looking crazed I am so ready. I walk out out in a short tight cocktail dress and I'm ready to go
Matthews POV
okay so I'm now back in town and I see Marlee over there looking fine as usual and I get the feeling she wants me too
"Hey babe" "Oh hi Matthew, what brings you back here" "oh i didn't wanna go to my prep school anymore so I came back here." "oh that's cool" I said biting my bottom lip "Wanna go dance?" then Sam wilkinson and Jack Gillinsky walk behind her "Aye Espinosa she's ours back off" "I don't see your name written on her" "Matt maybe another time sorry" "how bout never" Sam said as they walked off dancing the night away. well this blows the girl I've been crushing on forever doesn't even like me and she never will! I look over to my left and see Wilk and Gilinsky kissing Marlee
I just feel so hurt because she is amazing and she deserves better than those heartbreaking losers.

So far so good, every five minutes I see Matthew looking over at me completely checking me out. "Hey babe want us to do something about that loser looking at you?" Jack said giving Matt a stern look. "No it's fine just keep dancing." I said smirking. "How about we go take it to another room" Sam suggested. "Again no just keep dancing." These goons are starting to get on my nerves.
