Quiet Cries

Prologue:

This is a story about a girl namd Mika Tanner. She grew up most of her life with her Grandpa. Mika's Grandfather was getting really sick, and she just

found out her father died. She tries so hard to be tough. She is only 17 , living with her Grandpa in L.A. She has one good friend she has known ever since she was born, named Danny Feltcher. Mika and Danny get along so well, most of her friends are never there for her, but Danny, he's always there for Mika.

Mika is attending a Fine Arts College. She wants to become an actress. And wants to help her Grandfather pay the bills and get him the right medication he needs. Everyday it seems like her Grandfather is worse. He might be close to death.

~Chapter 1~

I woke up this morning feeling as happy as the sun.Went downstairs and made some breakfast for my Grandpa and I. He can barely eat, it's really sad. "Good morning Grandpa", I said. He just smiled. It's like he's afraid to talk. "What's wrong, do you not feel like eating?" , "You're starting to worry me" I exclaimed. He still just smiled. I kissed him goodbye, and grabbed my things for school.

When I went outside my ride was there. "Good morning hot stuff" said Mika. He didn't look happy as he usually was. "What's up?" I asked . He still didn't respond to any of my questions. As we drove to school, he turned on the radio. He wasn't listening to what he usually listens to, it was sad love songs."Wow! New change, huh?" I said. Still no response.

He pulled over and started crying, I have'nt seen him cry since we were 6 and his dog died. He looked so handsom, his skin was shinning like the moon at night. His lucious pink lips, he bites down on. "Are you okay?" I asked. He just shook his head no. "Is it Hannah?", I asked. "Yeah" he said. "Well what happned?" I asked.

He looked at me like I was his problem. He started the car and asked me to never speak of this again. When we got to school he kissed me on my cheek, and told me to have a good day. Because of him I always have a good day. I can't tell him how I feel, it could ruin our friendship.

While I walked down the hallway by myself, I saw Hannah. She looked at me, as I walked by, she tripped me. All my books and papers were everywhere. Danny stopped to help me. "Don't worry about Hannah, Mikes" he said. I just got my stuff and walked away. I heard him call my name from behind.

Suddenly my mood changed from happy to depressed. I put my things in my locker, getting out my phone. I walked outside needing fresh air.

~Chapter 2~

Danny and I have'nt talked ever since.There's a new boy at school. Second week in school, things might be changing. The new boy's name is Luke Barnes, he has a sister who goes to our school named Cammy. They both seem sweet. I walked into Civics and saw his seat was next to mine. I sat down and passed him a note. As he read it, he turned and smiled.

It was the end of the day, as i was walking home, Danny pulled up. "Hey, need a ride?" he asked me. I shook my head no, shaking from the rain. "Come on, you're not walking in the rain, you're gonna get sick" he said. I fell to the wet ground, crying. Danny came to me and put his jacket around me. As we sat in the car he kissed me on my cheek, I missed those kisses. I looked at him and smiled. "You want me to stay at your house?" he asked. "If you want" I said.

As we walked up to my room, my housekeeper Matilda brought up snacks. Danny and I talked over evetything. We made up, and him and Hannah broke up. Im happy about that, now I will probably have a chance."Since it's Spring Break, I want to go to " The Wanted" concert this weekend, do you want to go with me?" he asked. My face brightend with joy and I nodded.
