November 26 ,1995 was the most special day of my life, it was the day where I knew I found the one. Byron Javelin was his name, and he was the most handsome, and nicest. It was at the ice cream parlor on 23rd street. It was every Sunday I went there to get my double chocolate chip sundae with nuts and sprinkles with extra whipped cream. He came in and immediately caught my attention, I sat down and heard him order the same exact thing as I did. I thought that was especially rare that someone ordered that because I had it specially made for me.
He came over to my table and asked if this seat was taken. I said "no go ahead" he sat down and we started talking, something magical happened, I have never felt that way about someone. We had all the same interests like sports, pizza, double chocolate ice cream, and movies. It was like we were practically the same person, after our long conversation he had asked if I wanted to see him again next Sunday and go the the movie, I had said "yes, around 6:30 maybe?" "Eh sorry would around 8:00 work?" I was thinking how late and unexpected that was but I had said yes anyways.
Next Sunday has came and I had left my house around 7:45 giving me enough time to get to the theatre. I had arrived exactly at 8:00 and saw no sign of Byron. I told myself that he was just running late and decided to buy my tickets and get my popcorn. I figured he would get there by 8:15 which is what time the movie started. Minutes and minutes had passed by until it had reached the time of the movie and there was still no sign of him. I had forgotten to exchange numbers with him so there was no way I could call him and find out where he was so I decided to just leave and hoped I saw him next Sunday at the parlor.
