Your POV

I sighed leaning on the door of my little brother Hiccup's room. He works at the window for repairing weapons at Gobber's weapon shop, I walk in and place a hand on his shoulder. He looks up at me (I'm 5'11, he's 5'3) "Hiccup, you'll get your chance" I told him softly but he turned away, I looked down sighing. I grabbed his chin pulling him into a hug and said "Hiccup please, just try to finish your catapult" he hugged me back tightly and let me go. I smiled and went out the door to only see dragons, I groaned and ran back inside and told Hiccup "Hiccup, you need to get to Gobber's now" He looked at me and nodded so we both ran out side to Gobber's.

We ran through the village as fast we could, me being a lot faster then Hiccup I had to slow down so he could keep up with me. Many vikings told him to go back inside but saw me so they continued to fight the dragons, Hiccup nearly got roasted by a Monstrous Nightmare but Father grabbed his collar saying "Hiccup, what is he doing out, what are you doing out. Get back inside" I rolled my eyes and gently tapped Father's shoulder getting his attention "Father, I was taking him to Gobber's like where he's supposed to be" Father nodded and put Hiccup down so he ran to me holding my hand.

We ran to Gobber's and made it so I went inside first and got my sword, I was about to run out the door again to join the fighting when Hiccup hugged my waist. I hugged him back saying "You know our promise" he knew I never have broken this promise and I won't be doing it now. He let me go reluctantly so I ran out and saw a Deadly Natter about to fire its spikes at Father. I sprinted up to it and flipped forwards twirling in the air slicing its spikes clean off its tail to disarm it and landed right behind Father, he saw me and the defenseless dragon and chuckled saying "That's my viking daughter" I smiled with pride and ran as fast as I could trying to make sure as many vikings were safe.

My sword dulled badly so I went to the shop only seeing Hiccup run out of it pushing the catapult he has been working on for over 2 weeks, I groaned rolling my shoulder in not irritation but exhuastion from running all over berk and ran after him. He stopped at the edge of the island and set it up, I grabbed his wrist making him turn in surprise. He calmed down when he saw it was me, I looked around making sure there were no dragons and helped him put up the weapon into the catapult. He aimed while I looked around, I heard some sort of screech and barely saw an outline of a dragon "Night Fury" I whispered to him and he nodded letting me help him aim.

I saw it again and shouted at him but not too loudly "Now!!" he fired and I heard it screech knowing that we hit it. Hiccup hugged me and said "Did you see that, that was amazing" I giggled at his joy hugging him back but saw a Monstrous Nightmare coming up to us. I screamed at Hiccup "Run Hiccup!!" he ran as fast as he could while I ran at the dragon. I pulled out my extra blade and jumped at the dragon trying to cut it but it roared fire at me, I tripped falling on my butt trying to crawl away from it and yelped when its claws nearly hit me. I got back up and ran to the village as fast as my legs could carry me, it kept chasing me around the corners and everything. I slid under a low pole and used my hands to go over a log, faltering for a moment from my landing. I didn't even realize that I landed on my ankle wrong due to the adrenaline rushing through my veins, I kept running to where I believed that my father was. I then saw that I was cornered by the tall post and the dragon.

It roared at me making me jump to the side, it's fire burned the wood right where I used to stand and Father came running. Father knocked the beast's head hurting it badly so it flew away, I saw Hiccup running up behind him so I tried to stand up but felt pain in my right foot so I yelped in pain going back to the ground. Father ran over to me and helped me up by holding me up with one arm like I was a baby, I sighed and rested my head on his chest slowly taking soft breaths. I pant heavily in his arms after I heard Father telling Hiccup "She's alright, just tired" I weakly waved to my younger brother to give him some comfort. Then Father decided to take me to Gothi where I stayed the night. When I awoke and headed back to my home, I entered through a window noticing that the fireplace was lit most likely meaning Father was still awake but I heard Hiccup and Father talking.
