Girls usually are all the same. They almost all fit into one of the following categories: emo, sporty, preppy, or just bad news. However, many girls fit more than one of those. Despite that fact, every once in a while, you find a girl that is not defined by any of these really...a girl who is a unique and completely individual person. A girl like Aria Skye Mathis.

Aria had always been different from other girls. That discovery was made around the time she was in school for the first time. she was not ALWAYS interested in certain things. For example, she once went through a phase where she wanted to be a nail tech. Then wanted nothing to do with that and wanted to be a zoologist. She went through phases like this with horses, art, writing stories, and basically everything. There were only a few things that she always loved. Those were music, food, and then, if she fell in love with someone truly, she'd never get tired of him either.

Throughout all of high school, Aria had been infatuated with Evan Green. She would doodle little pictures on her notebook of hearts, him, and most prominently, the words Aria Skye Green. By the second semester of her freshman year, the notebook cover was absolutely full...front and back. Not even one hundredth of a millimeter of space remained blank.

Flash forward to junior year. Evan and Aria had began dating right before Christmas of sophomore year. All had been great. Over the summer, Evan kind of mysteriously disappeared for a few days. Then, he came back and began to act abnormally. Naturally, this drove Aria to grow suspicious. It fairly quickly tore them apart. Aria sort of shut Evan out without even noticing that she had. Due to this, Evan finally admitted that he could not STAND for Aria to be angry with him. He went on after this statement to say everyone's most dreaded sentence..."I think we need to take a break."

Evan could see the hurt in Aria's vivid green eyes. "Look, I'm not saying we are done forever. Because, I'm going to be honest...Aria Skye Mathis, I love you. Truly, I do. More than anything in the universe. No matter what, in my eyes, you'll always be a perfect, sweet, beautiful princess, Aria. I promise you that I will ALWAYS be here for you. If you need ANYTHING, don't hesitate to come to me. No matter what, I will always love you, Aria. I'll make sure we do not stay separated for long." Evan explained.

"Evan, before you go...I need some sort of real closure." Aria stated.

"Of course. As do I. What would you like for this 'closure' to be, angel?"

"Kiss me." Aria said imperatively. Evan nodded his head and proceeded to push the fringe of her long and wavy ash blonde hair behind her ears. He held her face and stroked his thumb on his cheek to wipe the tears straying from her eyes as she pulled him closer, looking up slightly to gaze into his amazing blue eyes. Following that, the two shared a long and passionate kiss, barely even coming up for air.

Following this intimate moment came a long embrace full of teary eyes and whispers of sweet words.

"You promise you'll come back?" Aria asked, her head in his chest as he stroked her hair with one hand and held onto her for dear life with the other.

"I promise I'll come back, princess. In the meantime, I'll keep loving you and being here for you."

"I love you so much, Evan." Aria told him as more tears and sobs began to escape. The two separated from one another. Evan had managed to somehow pull himself together temporarily, but Aria began to fall apart even more than before when her vivid green eyes met his icy blue ones once again.

Evan used his thumb to wipe away the tears from Aria's face before holding her again and kissing her forehead. "It's okay, Ar. It's not a full goodbye. Just...see you later." Evan reassured her as he began to tear up again.

Aria nodded. "Okay. Evan?"

"Yes, beautiful?"

"I love you."

"I love you too, Aria."

They shared one final, short hug before being interrupted by the bell that notified them to start making their way to homeroom. They then separated after sharing a short gaze into each other's eyes and Evan making sure to reassure Aria that it was just temporary. Tears began to fall as they started to say the last "I love you"s. Once they turned from each other, they both fully fell apart.

'It's okay. It's just temporary.' Aria thought to herself as she managed to walk into homeroom looking fully okay.
