After hours of mutilation and constant laughter from Lucia we finally took a break as the sun started to rise.

"I think he's all broke." She giggled as she kissed me tenderly.
"Thank you Bones I haven't been able to torture someone like that in so long." She smiled and kissed me again showing her appreciation.
" Anything for my love." I kissed her forehead.
"You know they're going to be looking for us now, right?" She wrapped her arms around my neck and leaned her head on my chest.
"I know, but don't worry. They don't know about you so they'll only be after me."
"How does that make a difference? I'm with you so they'll discover me eventually." She smiled sweetly and laid her head on my shoulder.
"I'll take care of the scraps this time." I kissed her head and got up making my way to the basement where she left him in pieces.
"Thank you darling I'm all worn out from the fun." She called out from her spot. I grabbed a trash bag and and started tossing the bloodied bones and flesh into it till there was none left leaving and empty blood stained floor and chair. I grabbed my shovel and slung the bag over my shoulder.
"Lucia I'm goi-." I stopped mid sentence noticing that she fell asleep on the floor and let myself give a little smile. I exited the worn down house walking down the block and towards the trees with my bag and shovel. As soon as I entered the wooded area I stopped to let my eyes adjust to the darkness and with luck it didn't take long. I made my way deeper into the woods leaving no trail behind me until I found a spot in the center of an encirclement of trees. I broke the earths crust with my shovel and continued to dig a bigger and deeper hole and till the bag fit. With a huff I sat back and took a break.
"That's bad for the economy I hope you know." The voice sent chills up my spine and the unknown of where it came from sent me on alert.
"I could smell the blood from thirty yards away." The voice let out a little chuckle. I pulled my knife slowly letting the moonlight gleam from it across the trees towards the hidden voice finding just a glint shine back. I was ready to attack until a smell hit my nose, a sharp metallic smell one I was all too familiar with it. I looked in the direction of the mysterious voice as the bushes started to rustle and the shine I held on the persons weapon was gone. I searched frantically for any sign of my possible adversary but couldn't find any. I held my knife firmly my palm sweating from the anticipation. Without a sound and without a warning I was rammed from the side and knocked against a tree suddenly the adrenaline ran through my veins and I swung my knife thinking he wouldn't be ready but was dreadfully wrong earning me a cut from my assailants own knife. I hugged my arm hoping the stinging pain would leave but it wouldn't subside. I glared at my opponent trying to put on a strong face but was easily broken as I scanned him. Standing before me covered in the dark crimson of his victims was a pale man with hair as black as Cole and blood drenched hoody.
"Who are you?" I asked with slight panic in my tone. His smile unnaturally widened as his dark unblinking eyes bore into my very soul. I stood on my feet shakily ready to defend myself from whoever this person was. I had someone to defend so I can't die here I won't allow it. I readied my knife and charged slicing for his throat but missed and clipped his ear as he dodged back. He stabbed his knife upward in attempt to gut me but I grabbed his wrist stopping the knife but at the same time he kneed me in the face knocking my head back. He swung his arm around connecting it with my throat and knocked me onto my back. I choked for air trying to recover from the heavy hit and was pinned down. He grabbed my face and I growled trying to bite his hand.
"You don't look happy, don't you want to be happy, let me help you smile." He pushed his knife against the side of my mouth slowly carving bringing an unbearable pain. I begged for it to stop but was not fortunate enough as he cut further across my face, tears and blood covered my face as he finished and sat up to admire his work.
"Shh shh its okay I know it hurts right now but soon enough you'll smile just like me." He started laughing insanely as he went to do the other side. I gritted my teeth and waited for the pain but he was roughly interrupted by a kick to the side of the head. I relished in the air the filled my lungs and the relief I felt knowing he wouldn't begin to carve my face again. I heard a struggle behind me and checked. There were two figures the one that was close to killing me and one in a green striped jacket with hatchets.
"I don't know what you think your doing here Jeff but your on my hunting grounds." The other boy snarled causing the first one to laugh loudly.
"There's no place I won't go for fun twitch." They charged each other and swung randomly both missing and landing hits. Blood gushed from the man in the white hoody and he winced from the pain but landed a cut of his own on his opponent that didn't seem to bother him in the slightest. I crawled away eventually leaning myself against a tree literally dying from blood loss. I looked back at the fight and the boy with hatchets seemed to be winning for now. I chuckled quietly to myself as I bleed out with a huge gash in my face.
"So this is the way I'm going out huh?" Suddenly a surge of anger shot through me. I can't die here, not here. I have to protect Lucia, no I will protect her. I stood to my feet shakily using the tree as support. I could see the blood pouring from my face but disregarded it for the time being I had to get home. I walked on uneasy legs towards my home hoping neither of the two fighting would notice. I shuffled through the bushes and tall trees with only one objective on my mind. I walked far enough not being able to feel my face and could finally see the house, I tried to smile but couldn't due the shredded nerves on one side of my face.
"Think you got away?" I heard a hoarse voice behind me. I turned seeing the black hair and white face with the monstrous smile standing as close as possible. Horror replaced my smile as I tried to turn and run but he wrapped his arm around my neck and with a sudden stinging pain I could feel the steel slide across my neck and the warm blood flow down my neck. All of my strength left my body as I choked for air and fell limp, my vision went hazy and the sound of the world drowned out. I played staring up at the sky as I felt sleep befall me slowly slipping me into the waters of death but at the very last moment I could see Lucia crying and yelling but I couldn't hear her I tried to lift my hand to wipe her tears but all that happened was darkness.
