I decided to wake up early at today for a special reason. Today was me and Dantes anniversary. To be more exact our 4 year anniversary. I never thought that we would come this far and from... never mind I don't want to think about it.

I got up to see my lovely blueberry haired boyfriend Dante. I peck his check as he smiled. "Happy anniversary baby". I saw a weak smile on his face and I instantly know it was because he was tired. "Happy 4 year anniversary". He got up and I saw his grey eyes.

Yes Dante is blind. He wasn't born with it. On our 2nd year anniversary we found out Dante had a Tumor. I remember the day like yesterday.

Flashback (start music)

"What's the news Garroth". I looked at him I can tell he was going to cry and he knew
that i was going to break down. "Nothing good to be honest". Then I saw Dante ,he just grabbed my shirt and tugged it towards him pulling me closer. "You told me that you had issues with your sight and that you are feeling numb,dizzy Abnormal pulse and breathing rates". "Yes...".

So then a nurse comes in with a chart that shows the recent X-rays of Dantes brain. "Thank you Zoey". "Anytime Doctor ro'meave". She walked out she looked like she was going to cry.
"Okay well the corpus callosum contains nerve fibers that allow the left and right sides ,as you can see here, of the cerebrum to communicate. The tumor located in the right side here ,can result in disconnection syndrome or split-brain syndrome, which may cause blindness. Which we are thinking Dante is developing and may die if we do not remove but that will cause total blindness and on top of that you are taking chance of 30% a survival rate". I saw a tear come down Dantes face. Then two then three then a whole river. I squeezed him and we both started crying.

I decided to stop thinking about it. As Dante sat up from bed.since Our bed is pretty high so I have to help him down. After I did we got out of bed we gave each other a peck on the lips and I held his hand as we walked into the kitchen. I started to make omelets while we were listening to an audible book.

"This is a nice book" Dante says breaking the silence. "Yeah it's so... I don't know ...unique". "Kinda like our love uh. You know... I still wonder why your still with me. seeing how ... well I can't see for the rest of my life and I'm gonna need help for the rest of my life also. And...that...mostly...people would leave me like all my other "friends". I just don't understand". I paused the book and looked at him staring down at the table as tears were falling down his milky white face. I walked over and sat down on one of our many multi color chairs. "Babes... from the moment you Glanced at me I knew that I was in love. From the moment you said hi. Hell the first time I saw you it reminded me of a goddess. And I swore to myself that no tumor will not break us up because you are my everything and ... I wanted to ask you an important question. Dante you make me the happiest man on the world. Will you make me even happier and will...you...marry me". I saw Dante start to cry and I was starting crying too.

Dante pov

I was flabbergasted. I was crying tears of joy before I said anything. "YES... I DO YES YES YES YES INFINITY YES"!!! I felt a cold surface on my finger. Then warm hands on my shoulders then a head at the crest of my shoulder. We were both crying tears of joy.

Even though I'm blind and need help he's still with me. I feel overwhelmed but at the same time over joyed. I think for the first time in a long time I'm finally gonna be happy. With my soul mate with my best friend with my everything.
