Chapter 01
I shut off the TV has soon as the words "Trenton Weathers" were spoken. I despised him so much that no words in the world could describe my hatred for him. Trenton Weathers isn't real. In my opinion, he's just a normal human being filled with lies. No one knows the real him, but I sorta have an idea.
He's probably a stuck up celebrity who agrees to all the lies magazines and reporters write about him just so he can make a living, just like they do. Sure, he has talent. So does the other half of the world. The only reason why Trenton is famous is because he is good looking. I mean really, if you were a really good singer but with an ugly face, they wouldn't accept you. It's the rules of society.
That's maybe one third of the reason why I hate Trenton, but the other half concludes of words that are WAY inappropriate for other people. I don't even think the words are in the book. Whatever the book may be.
I stood up, and made my way to the kitchen, expecting my best friends Lia and Daren to arrive any minute and they will whine if they're is nothing to eat. I grabbed the tub of ice cream from the freezer, the graham crackers, and chocolate syrup and tossed them on the counter as the door bell rang. Just in time.
I skipped down the hall, and opened the front door to see an annoyed Daren and a way too overly excited Lia. I raised an eyebrow and Daren shook his head.
"You don't even wanna know."
I smiled and led them into the kitchen, handing them each a spoon. They instantly dug in. Pigs.
"So, Claire, if I asked you to do me a HUGE favor, would you do it?" Lia asked, licking the ice cream off her spoon. I shrugged, and added ice cream to my crackers and then poured the syrup all over it.
"Sure, whatever." I muttered, biting into my ice cream sandwich.
"Will you go to a Trenton Weathers concert with me tonight."
I choked on my ice cream when a piece of the graham crackers went down the wrong pipe. Gasping, I grabbed a water bottle and chugged it down like it was the end of the world. The water got caught in my throat a couple of times, but that didn't stop me from emptying the whole bottle in one go.
"No way," I wheezed. "In hell will I ever go to his concert."
"Please?" She whined, her excited face never changing. "It will be so much fun. There will be singing, dancing, and even an after party."
"That you're not invited to and I'm not either!" I protested, angrily snatching the ice cream out of Daren's hands and putting it back in the freezer.
"I bought tickets." She reminded me, flashing them around.
"Yeah, for the concert." I twisted up the graham crackers and set them back into the cabinet, slamming it hard.
"Please, Claire. You're my best friend and we're supposed to do things together. Remember that time you made me go ice skating with you and I completely embarrassed myself? I made that sacrifice for YOU!" Lia jabbed her finger at me, her face suddenly serious.
I sighed and glanced at Daren who had an amused expression plastered across his face. I rolled my eyes at him as he winked.
"Do I have too?" I whined, dropping my head back although I already knew the answer.
"Yes." Lia replied easily.

"Oh my gosh! There he is!" Lia squealed in my ear as Trenton Weathers walked out on the stage waving. He was wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans. It may look like he was trying to act average but you could tell those jeans cost about 100 or so dollars.
"Hey everybody!" Trenton called out, waving at the crowd. He signaled his band to start playing as he began to sing one of his hits. I sighed as I pulled out my earplugs and slipped them on as Lia sang loudly along with Trenton. I closed my eyes, and drifted off to sleep.

I opened my eyes quickly and looked around. Everyone was clearing out and the band was packing up there instruments, ready to leave. I stood up as I realized Lia was no where to be found. I cursed under my breath and went to go look for her before she did something stupid like kidnap Trent. Trust me, Lia is crazy enough to do that.
"Lia!" I called out, as I stepped onto the big stage. I felt a dizzy feeling as if I was stage fright - which I was but there was no one in the audience. I turned as I heard voices and followed the noises. I opened the door and saw a bunch of people partying and lights flashing everywhere. Wow, they're so lame they have to have the after party at the concert. Don't they usually have them at like the house or something?
"Lia." I yelled out again, looking around. I still didn't see her as I squeezed through the dancing crowd. I smiled in victory as I saw a girl with red hair, just like Lia, slip through a door. I pushed my way through and opened the door.
"Hey watch it!" A way to familiar voice yelped.
