Nap Time (Zoethian one shot)

Its two in the morning and I felt creative....ness so here is what that produced. Leave a vote and a follow.

Rythian always questioned Zoeys sanity when it came to 12:00. She would always stop in the middle of whatever she was doing and go in side and walk in the living room grab a blanket and fall asleep on the couch. Then at about 2:00 she would get up fold the blanket put it back and pick up what ever she was doing.

When Rythian first saw this he thought something was wrong she would be happy and jumping around talking about mushrooms or mooshrooms. Then she would yawn stop talking and go inside without a word.

Rythian got used to it but still was a bit on edge about it. How could she go from happy to tired in 3 seconds flat. None the less Rythian would pick up the mess or what ever she was doing before and go inside and watch her sleep. He didn't mean to be weird or creepy. He did it because a sense of peace washed through his weary self. He would forget about Sjin, Duncan. And just about everything else. It became a part of his daily life.

One day at about eleven Zoey went inside and took her daily nap. Rythian noticed almost instantly. She went to nap an hour early. Rythian quickly dropped and picked up the farming tools and put them in the chests. He then walked in the front door and d walked through the kitchen and in the living room. He sat down on the other couch an watched.

After a few minutes he had a feeling. One he hasn't felt in a while. He felt a heat rise up from his chest to his cheeks. His whole body was consumed in heat. He wanted to climb in the couch with her and hold her. He loved her. Needed her.

He didn't notice Zoey watching. She knew he would come and watch her. She coughed and got his attention. His cheeks flushed. Zoey laughed to herself then lifted the covers up. She watched Rythian intently. He took a second to realize what she wanted. He slowly got up and walked towards the couch. She moved back on the couch making room for him. He got under the blanket with her. And put her arms around her. He turned towards him. He chuckled to him self. Zoey looked up at him and slowly pulled forwards. She kissed his cheek and then turn towards him. She planted a kiss on the lips. Then pulled back smiled got comfortable. Then as she started to fall asleep she whispered "Best nap time ever."

Rythian was surprised through out the whole thing. After she fell asleep his hand flew to his cheek then lips. Two fingers sat on his lips as he thought about what she said. He loved him. And he loved her. "Best nap time." And with that Rythian fell asleep.

Teep chucked to himself as he watched them kiss then fall asleep. It was bound to happen sooner or later.
