Chapter 4 - It rained then the sun sets.

Right after they played in the spacious field, they got tired and JR was the first to land back in the other part of the woods at the other side of the grassland. Touching his knees and panting a little after some time, JR stood straight, his hand leaning on a tree near him, staring at a direction to where they should go next.

"We'll go deep in the woods. Maybe we could find something that'll progress through our journey."

Ralf, after panting, stared at his cousin for a moment.

"You've been telling us where to go during our flight. Are you even sure about where we are going?"

JR looked back to his cousin,

"I'm not certain, but maybe we could find something."

Ralf went silent over there, replying

"Well, if you say so." he shrugged.

The hobgoblin, was running back in the grassland and had made it to the other part of the woods, wandered around in the area where the two cousins were, spotting them as he eeked quietly again and hid behind a nearby bush.

Suddenly, the weather changed as raindrops started to fall from the sky.

"Augh!" JR said, some rain drops fell on his head.

They both quickly ran under a tree where it had enough leaves and branches to prevent the rain from dousing them.

"Oh, no! I'm getting myself wet here if I don't find someplace to avoid the rain!" The hobgoblin quietly argued as he ran away from the bush, going away from the two and hiding somewhere.

"Damn. I don't want to get myself wet. Let's just stay here for a while." argued JR, brushing off his shoulders, Ralf doing the same.

The two cousins awkwardly waited under the tree they were standing underneath, watching the droplets of rain hit the leaves of a nearby bush, the plants getting watered by rain and the ground being wet and muddy. They huddled a little closer.

"Rainy days." sighed Ralf.

JR looked at his cousin, turning his head slowly.

"What about 'em?" he asked after he blinked, eyes raised.

Ralf flashbacks,

"Reminds me back when I was little, I used to splash on the puddle and get myself wet. Buuuut the latter made me sick, so that's why I stopped splashing on puddles back then.

JR looked back on the bushes,

"Hm."

JR decided to share his story soon before things could get even more awkward.

"I don't splash on puddles back when I was a kid. I bathe in the rain. The feeling of rain pouring over you is like a giant shower. It's so refreshing. But the next day after I bathed, I got sick as well. So I'm preventing myself from getting wet AND bathing from then on."

The rain had fallen for some time and soon enough, it had stopped. JR was the first to notice the weather's change.

"The rain stopped. Let's get going now."

He left the tree and Ralf did the same after.

"Right. Let's continue." JR said.

JR walked to a direction, searching for something that could help progress their journey. 10 minutes of searching, but still not a single area where they could progress and go through.

"Ehhh...let's goo....over here." he pointed to his left.

10 minutes later, and still nothing.

"How about here?" he pointed to his North-East.

Another 10 minutes later, still nothing.

They arrived in a pathway, out of the trees, in between two parts of the woods.

"We've been walking for 30 minutes, coz! I can't go on any further." Ralf complained.

"How are we suppose to progress if we stop here and complain?" JR responded to his complaining.

"Can't we just rest for now? You've been pushing yourself in this search of progress through our journey. I mean, we're not even in a hurry or anything."

JR showed a face of hesitancy, pondered the decision over, averting eyes during the act, and decided.

"Alright. Fine." JR pouted.

They just now realized that the sun was setting beside them. Oh, how the weather flies. JR notices this as he looks at the sun, one eye closed.

"It's getting dark now. Let's find a place to set camp to 'rest'." JR said to his cousin. Ralf, seeing this as JR walked away from him, blinked, running to catch up to him moments after blinking.

JR leaded the way, Ralf behind him a few meters away. The search for a spot didn't take them long, as 3 minutes later, they had found a nice area for camp.

"Alright. This should be the place. I'll set the fire with Inigo."

"I'll go find some wood nearby. You can't have fire without wood." Ralf claimed.

JR lifted an eyebrow, "Well, of course you can't." he chuckled.
