chapter 4

(Dream)
I look around but there's nothing but darkness. I whimper a little due to my dear of darkness. I look around trying to see if I can escape but there's nothing but black. The whispers. They're back. "You're not strong enough" "kill yourself" "you couldn't even save your parents" "remember" they all said in unison. "No I don't want to remember" i whispered to myself. "Stop. Stop talking!" I scream. I start running, tears streaming down my face. I don't know where I'm going I just wanna get away. I get tired of running and fall to my knees. Suddenly everything turns red. I look around and gasps. The bodies of everyone surround me. All of their bodies were so disoriented. I shook my head. "No its not real!" I say. "See not string enough. Couldn't even save them". "No it can't be real!"

I shot up and looked around to see I'm in my own room. My brother busts through the door "what's wron?" He asks frantically. "It alright I just had a nightmare. ..." i say trailing off. He comes towards me and sits on my bed. He hugs me whispering "It's okay. It was just a dream." I nod my head hugging him back. We stay like that for a few minutes and then he pulls away.

"Are you alright now?" Seishin asks. "Yeah I think I'm fine." I say, my breath becoming steady again."okay, I'm gonna get ready. School starts soon." And with that he walks out. Once the door shuts I get up and walk to my bathroom. I shower, brush my teeth, brush my hair, and change into my regular attire.

I walk out and into the kitchen to see breakfast already set. I sit next to Seishin and we eat in silence and once I'm done I place my plate in the sink. "Alright you ready?" Seishin asks. I nod my head making my way towards the door. We walk to school and see the group already there.

"Hey guys" Seishin says while I just give a slight wave. "Hey Seishin, Tamashi." Soul says trying to act "cool". The bell rings and we all make our way to the classroom. We walk in and sit down at our seats. Professor Stein comes in and starts saying how we're gonna dissect a rare bird. "Wow this'll be a long day." I think to myself as I start daydreaming.

(Timeskip)

It's now lunch and Seishin and i walk towards maka. "So maka you still wanna have that battle?" I ask. "Yeah come one soul." She says and we start making our way towards an open area. I walk to the other side with Seishin and wait for maka to be ready. Soul then turns into a scythe and maka catches him.

I look at Seishin with hopeful eyes. "Can we use your other mode?" I ask. Seishin sighs and nods knowing he doesn't have a choice. "Yesss" i say fist pumping the air. I stop and look towards maka with a smirk on my face. "Seishin double scythe" i say. He nods and jumps into the air Turing into his double scythe mode.(picture)

I catch him and spin him around skillfully then stopping in a fighting stance. They all look at us with a suprised expression. They all regain their composure and Patty gives the signal telling us to start.

Maka charges at us and swings Soul down towards us. I block their attack with Seishin and use his other end to trip them. Once down I jump back creating distance. She gets back up and we clash back and forth for a few minutes and I hit her with a soul wavelength making her go back and fall. She jumps back up and gets in a stance. "Hmmm wonder what trick she has planned" "Let's do this" she says to soul. "Soul resenonce! " they yell in unison. "Witch hunter!"
