"i think i forgot my phone at the store. can i go back in there to check if its theres?" karla asked.

"yeah, whatever. but hurry because your mother is going to a party with her co-workers and she wants to have dinner as a family with us" he explained.

she nodded her head and quickly got out and went in the grocery store.

where is he? she thought.

she spotted him at the dairy aisle.

"troye, i found you!" she exclaimed. "i came back her to ask you if you want to exchange numbers"

troye laughed as he gave her his phone and she gave hers to him. "sure, but seriously, running back here just for that?"

"yes actually. and make it fast because my dads in the car and he'll get mad if i come late. and i have to text you something really important"

they gave each other their phones back. "okay, see you later" troye said.

"bye" karla said as she ran back outside.
