When I left to go into WPP I knew it would mess Olivia and I's relationship up but I always thought she would wait for me. I didn't think it would drive her to another woman. We were at a precinct Christmas party and she was sitting across the room on Detective Rollins lap. I was standing across the room holding back tears. I missed being able to hold and kiss her. When I came back from WPP we noticed we weren't good for each other anymore and we broke up. Not even a month later she starts dating Detective Amanda Rollins. I thought I meant more to her than that.

I walked over to Munch and started up a conversation with him. While he was speaking I kept glancing over to Rollins and Olivia and when he noticed it he called me out on it.
"You miss her don't you?" Munch had taken me by surprise.
"Yes, But she is happier with Rollins and if Rollins makes her happy I'm happy for her."

They were dancing in sync with each other and I couldn't stand to watch them together. I tried so hard to be happy for the but I just can't . I'm still in love with Olivia Benson.

After the party, I walked up to Olivia and she greeted me with a hug.
"Olivia can we talk alone please?" She looks skeptical but walks outside any way.
"What do you need Alex?" She asks in a soft voice.
"I'm still in love with you Olivia-" She sighs and opens her mouth to talk but I cut her off. " I mean it, I still love you more than anything but I get it you have moved on and if happy is her I'm happy for you,"
